We got the premium pass, which included the "train", safari, and aquarium in addition to the general admission. I would not bother with the train - it was about a 30 min wait, and the zoo is not that big to walk around. And the aquarium is not very big (although it was very popular with the locals). I recently went to the zoo and the new attraction was the aquarium, but I do not think it was that nice. It was missing many things, specially something that you would not commonly see. more

I visited this zoo with my family towards the end of our week-long stay in Guadalajara. This is a fairly new facility, having moved from the cramped former location downtown. We spent 2 days at this place and still didn't see everything! Not 2 full days, but about 4-5 hours each day. There is SO much to see. The highlight for me was going into a monkey cage and feeding the monkeys! Our town has a small zoo. THIS zoo was great!! Only cost a few dollars too. more
