This building was a great place to visit. In the heart of town, the Palacio de Gobierno is a beautiful structure, featuring breathtaking murals by Jose Orozco (worth the trip to the building on their own). There's other pieces of Mexican history to be seen here as well. Another positive for this place is clean bathrooms on the first floor... more

I just have to jump in here and mention that these murals are world class. They are not simply a neat experience.....they are an unforgetable experience. My friend and I thought they were the best highlight of the city. more

A great first place to visit on a walk around the historical downtown district. There's a tourist information booth just inside the doorway on the right - pick up a map and some advice - then go into the beautiful courtyard and head up the stairs to the right. The Orozco mural is mindboggling - even if you don't like... more
