Took this tour with OfficialTours.otlc@gmail.com in April from Lake Chapala area. It was a little warm but the Official Tours of Lake Chapala guide knew how to keep things cool, interesting and fun! More

I think there is a small charge to enter. Lots of exhibits on early Mexico history. Worth a couple hour visit while staying near the main square. More

Great frescos! There are two main frescoes- on the stairway walking up to the second floor and in the Congress room. They are huge!!!! The building itself is beautiful, outide and in. It also contains a small museum of Mexican history that you should see. More

We stopped in to see the murals here since we didn't have time to go to the Hospicio. The building itself is very pretty and the murals are amazing. There is also a museum, and part of the building is currently being renovated. As a plus, there are clean bathrooms available free of charge! More

When you visit the Hospicio de Cabanas for the Orozco mural, don't look for the most famous one because it is here in the Palacio de Gobierno. Besides this painting there is not much else to see so it is a quick - free - visit so don't miss it! More

An artist named Jose Clemente Orozco painted a giant hildago style painting here all over the grand arching ceiling, another can be found in the congress hall.
