This stunning structure is amazing when you see it from outside and once you enter the Cathedral (remove your caps people!), enjoy the peace and quiet of this magnificent cathedral. Please respect by not taking photos during a mass!

This Cathedral is a very unique building in Mexico. It is very different from other churches. The architecture is really unique. It is a very prayerful place. I have visited so many times. Es una Catedral muy hermosa, única en su arquitectura. La he visitado un sin numero de veces.

The only thing I can say about the cathedral is. It has beautiful architecture, as does most of the buildings in central Guadalajara. It is very clean, very organized, very photogenic, compared to Mazatlan which now is like a filthy, unruly, littered ghetto. In spite of the government's effort to clean it up and change it for the better !... More

We only stopped in for a moment but were very impressed. We arrived about 10:00am and caught a beautiful shaft of light cutting across the front of the cathedral (near the alter).

It is a nice church, but I think a little bit of care will be better, I came back at night time thinking it was going to be any kind of special lighting....but nothing, all dark outside.

The Cathedral is nice and when in Guadalajara is worth a visit. There are many other more impressive Cathedrals throughout Mexico and the world. In my opinion it is nice just for passing through.

On of tha main buildings in town and a symbol for Guadalajara. The church has serveral beautiful chapels and a wide iconographic collection. Wonderful wooden floors. The history of the building is very interesting.

It's a beautiful building, though not as imposing or as striking as those you can find in other cities such as Puebla. You can hop on the tour buses from there, to check out some interesting places Guadalajara has to offer.

I was there and it was really nice.. however I did not like so many homeless people outside the church asking for money... they made it look a non-safe place to visit.
