The museum is really worth seeing and is hosted in the actual home of Robert Brady. His collection of art pieces is VERY varied and I think there is something for every taste. The house is immaculate and the guides are really helpful. In each room, you will find a page that describes each piece in English. There is a... more

I was awed by this house/museum and recommend to all my friends who visit Cuernavaca. It should not be missed. Bring your camera. I bet before you leave that you will take more than 50 photographs. Enjoy. more

Based on what we had read about the Brady Museum we definitely wanted to see it. It exceeded our expectations by far. Brady was an American expat artist and collector originally from Iowa who settled in Cuernavaca. He bought a home with a great location near the cathedral and decorated it with art and treasures from all over the world.... more

Even if you are not an art lover like I am, the Robert Brady Museum is a must-see. You will see some pretty decent artwork (from Asia, Africa and the western world - Frida with monkey!) which is hung salon-style in every room in the house including the bathrooms, plus get a sense of how lavishly this obviously very rich... more

My friend and I wandered into the museum because it was attached to the house we rented for the week (Casa Mariposa Blanca). It is worth the visit - very interesting to see his collection, which is pretty eclectic - but the best part is the house, which is very unique and beautiful. more

I went back several times during the three weeks I spent in Cuernabaca at language school It was wonderful, far too much to take in in a single visit. Just wonderful. Gave me a lot to think about. more

My wife and I visited the Brady Museum simply because it was on a list we had gotten from somewhere. However, once we entered this grand old Mexican home hidden behind the town cathedral, we were transported into the whimsical, soulful and creatively inspired world created by Robert Brady, an artist neither of us had ever heard of. His ecclectic... more

Just down the street from the most wonderful Casa Colonial Hotel where we stayed, is this gem of a museum. We had never heard of Robert Brady but were curious at the site of the exterior of this seemingly well-kept museum. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. This was quite a find with some amazing art. This is certainly worth... more

We visited museo robert brady on 18/4/03, and loved the artist's collection of works. he delighted in preserving the ancient nunnery while gathering his personal photos, mexican artifacts, and his own work in an updated, lavish, home. more

The house is not 16 century, but very 1970´s. Its all very gay camp. On display are the owner´s awfull kaftans, belts and other items including some Avon perfume containers. A couple of good paintings and trashy furniture frames the worst painting ever made by a self proclaimed artist. Avoid it at any rate!!! more
