I booked the trip via email with two other people and paid $100 down payment via Paypal. This was easy and they were accommodating for us. We set up to start at 8 instead of 7. Then we were to go off shore fishing first and if we did not catch anything we would go in shore. We went out... More

Julio was on time and super nice. Fishing was suppose to be slow, but Julio had us on the fish all day long. We caught needle fish and probably 20 to 25 bonita. My girlfriend caught her first fish. After we finish fishing we headed to Las Gatas beach and had a wonderful lunch by a beautiful beach. Great time,... More

We used Julio's boat for rooster fishing. Alejandro and Thomas were the crew. Unfortunately, the fish weren't biting the day we went. However, the crew tried hard and took us out to catch some Bonitas. After our trip, they dropped us off at play las gatas at Julio's mother's restaurant Olitias, and we had some great food and relaxing drinks.... More

I went fishing with Julio's Tours in Zihuatanejo, Mexico and it was a completely wonderful experience. The capatin and crew were polite, the boat was clean and in ship shape and the gear was completely modern. We caught lots of fish and had a fine meal afterwards.

This was our second trip to Zih and while the end of May is not the ideal time to go (hot), we had a great time! There was stormy weather off the coast that morning and we asked Julio if he thought it was heading our way (my Spanish is very poor), he said he thought it was and we... More

The whole reason we went with Julio was the reviews on trip advisor. However, some more recent reviews are likely more accurate. Julio literally did not say anything to me or my wife. In fact, we were only 2 people on 5 hour boat ride, and Julio didn't even ask what my wife's name was or say a word to... More

I really don't understand your review. I spoke to you and your wife and in fact your wife spoke a little Spanish to me. It was a little difficult hearing your wife as her berka muffled her voice. If we didn't speak all day long how did you know that I had children and Tomas has a little boy? You... More

During our very first trip to Zihuatanejo a couple of weeks ago, my husband, two children (9 and 12) and I joined Julio and his first mate, Tomas, on a snorkeling and fishing combo for the day. We had a wonderful time. Carol and Gary, Americans who assist Julio with his clientele, helped us to book the excursion and provided... More

Our family of four signed up for the fishing/snorkel trip with Julio last week during our March Break. The best part of the experience was the pre-trip booking exchanges with Julio's volunteers. The day of the tour we easily found the meet up location but Julio was late. We then waited on the pier while he got drinks for the... More

We went fishing with Julio two weeks ago (just got back Saturday). It was easy to meet up with Julio at the Marina in the morning, he told us where we could get some great sandwiches for the trip and we were on our way. His boat Joceline is clean and in great shape. We quickly caught fish right outside... More

I'm not sure how many fishing/snorkeling trips we have taken with Julio but it's something we never miss and every year we have a fantastic time. We caught so many fish this year that my arms were aching! Julio is just a great guy. His panga is always spotless and in great shape. This year while snorkeling my snorkel came... More
