Cast off from Zihuatanejo Bay to the beautiful, secluded white sand beach and coral reef of Playa Manzanillo. Snorkeling, swimming and beach combing are the orders of the day. Set sail and keep watch for whales (in season), dolphin, sea turtles and mantra rays. Party back to the bay with a magnificent spinnaker run and anchor in front of Playa La Ropa for a ride on our 2400' spinnaker (wind permitting!). Open bar and lunch are provided.

Booked this with our Sunwing rep at hotel. I believe it was approx. $70 usd per person. Well worth it for us. The boat is beautiful and can more than accommodate a large group. I recommend sitting on the mesh at the front of the boat. N/C all you can drink and a small meal provided. The staff and service... More

I took the sail, snorkel and spinnaker tour and had a great time. There was not enough wind to actually sail or spinnaker which was disappointing but the boat crew was amazing and a lot of fun. We were taken to areas to snorkel and swim and the boat captain was very knowledgeable of the history of the area. I... More

Our family paid $680 USD on the Picante boat to go sailing, snorkeling (for an additional fee), and a spinnaker ride.... On the day of, there was no snorkeling because they rented me broken equipment and said it wasn't their fault because the previous customer didn't tell them it was broken. There was no spinnaker ride either, but instead you... More

We enjoyed both the Sunset booze cruise (on New Year's Eve, no less) and the Snorkelling tour to a nearby coral reef. We highly recommend both of them. The outgoing, helpful staff make the trip extra special.

We really enjoyed our cruise last week on the Picante. This is our 2nd time taking it and would never miss it. when we decided to return to Ixtapa, we said one of our priorities was to do the cruise again. The crew work very hard to keep everyone happy and entertained. I would like to commend the crew on... More

H, Cdn Traveller! Thank you so much for your kind words and commendation! We appreciate that so very much. As this is not your first time on board, you know that we pride ourselves on our service. Our open bar does not mean we are a booze cruise, nor do we want that reputation. We do want the reputation of... More

The Picante evening sunset cruise is nice. For the price you get an open bar and a basic meal along with a sunset offshore.

Hola Lyn R, Thank you for posting your review. We appreciate all feedback. You mentioned a basic meal... Our Magical Sunset Cruise has never been a dinner cruise; I am wondering if by chance someone lead to believe that is was supposed to be a meal, when in fact, we simply advertise what we offer: hors d'oeuvres. If that is... More

This was a fun family adventure. We snorkeled, net surfed, did back flips off the back of the boat, took a nap on the front of the boat and ate and drank too much. The staff made the hole event a blast for all ages.

This cost $59 US each and included an open bar along with a small snack type meal that really hit the spot. The water wasn't very bumpy so this was a great way to see the area from a different perspective - on the water. The sunset was unbelievable!! One recommendation is to turn the volume down on the music... More

The captain gives excellent bilingual running commentary. The crew are very attentive and keep your drinks filled. The yacht itself is not crowded so you can spread out and relax. The views of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa are great. Sunset itself is lovely from the sea. Well worth an evening out.

One word describes this: Nightmare. The cruise started at 9.30 when about 30 Canadians covered in tattoos arrived. Captain Kevin turned up the music so loud it was deafening. Arriving at the snorkeling area which had Jelly fish a few cruise passengers were stung. They got out of the water and proceeded to drink as much alcohol as possible either... More
