My husband and I spent three hours with marine biologist Eduardo and Wildlife Connection when our cruise ship stopped in Puerto Vallarta. What a treat to seek out the dolphin with someone so knowledgeable. It was an informative and exciting trip. I can't recommend it enough. Large tourist boats stop by and point at the dolphin and remain for only... more

During our trip to PV we had time to do one off-site excursion. Our two girls, age 9 and 6, really wanted to swim with dolphins so before we left home we researched the various alternatives and decided that we would rather have an experience with WILD dolphins than swim with those captured to swim with tourists (lots of info... more

I had the chance to go on the Dolphins in the Wild excursion on October 1, 2009. Eduardo Lugo led the tour that day, he is an accomplished wildlife photographer and is reasearching dolphins in Banderas Bay. After a brief introduction, we went out on a boat and motored around the bay until we found a group of maybe 20... more

Wildlife Connection took us out on the bay from Puerto Vallarta to swim with the dolphins this week. We weren't sure what to expect - but we did exactly that - swim with dolphins. The organization's primary goal is research and taking tourists out is secondary. Our guide was clearly knowledgeable about dolphin habits and concerned about the dolphin's heath... more

Thanks again, Eduardo and Cesar, for such an amazing experience. My friends and I had the time of our lives swimming with the dolphins; but, the cherry on the cake was seeing all of the Olive Ridley sea turtles on our way back to port, especially, the two that were mating...that is something not too many people get a chance... more

I have always wanted to swim with the dolphins but not in a swimming pool. I wanted to see them in their natural habitat. Well, my husband and I had an opportunity to not just learn about them but also seeing in the wild. What a beautiful sight.! I am not a great diver, so I did not get to... more

My husband and I were in PV for our honeymoon and did a number of excursions while we were there. I wanted to swim with dolphins but wasn't sure how I felt about the ones stuck in captivity, which led us to this excursion. WOW. What a chance of a lifetime. Eduardo Lugo took us out to where he knew... more

There are a lot of tour operators in PV. Most are offered through a tour agent or worse yet, a time share.....don't do it!!!!!! Wildlife Connection offers a very personal experience and you know that the very reasonable fee is going to the person who is doing the work. We just got back from PV and did the wild dolphin... more

I booked this online probably 6 months before we arrived in Mexico & was the highlight of our holiday...it was fantastic. There were 6 of us , 4 adults & 2 girls aged 9 & 12. We met Cesar & Eduardo at the gates of the Marina as arranged & were then taken to a room , where they explained... more

2 adults, 2 kids (10 & 12) and this ended up being a 'private tour'. After a very informative overview about mammals in general and dolphins in the bay, Eduardo and Cesar took us out in the 27-foot covered boat to go find them. It didn't take us long to spot the first dorsal fin, then we spotted several small... more
