This is a smallish town north of PV where the people are friendly and the food is awesome. Nothing but good things to say about this little town.

Tired of the big 'booze cruise' tour? Well Manny is a better option. Six of us went on his tour to the Marietas Islands, on a boat piloted by his father. Good commentary along the way. Super trip to see the beauty of the islands - emerald water, caves, arches of rock. But the highlight was the blue footed booby....

Bucerias is 17km from PV and less than a 10 min cab ride from the Nuevo Vallarta hotel district. I have been to Mexico several times and I enjoy this small town for it's increasingly large expat community while preserving the culture and feel of a small town in Mexico. I have not had any problems with food, tacos are...

The town of Bucerias is laid back and really an enjoyable little town to viait. It is right on the beach and a short walk from the Riu resorts. We visited this little town 4 times and loved hanging out at Fat Boys beach bar and restaurant. There ia great food and lots of Coronas to enjoy. The entertainment was...

The town is very tired, it is sad that nothing there seems to get fixed. Being hassled in the shopping area/market is not for everyone either, it doesn't bother me but my husband hates it. Some good deals to be had though and a good mexican feel about the place.
My wife (Kathleen) and I owned a condo in this charming town from 2005 to 2008 and spent our winters there during that period. We have visited many times over the past five years. Bucerias boasts most of the tourist resources of PV with none of the big city annoyances . Accommodation ranges from the very modest to the lavish,...

Drove to bucerias for the day. Fun little town. Nice beaches. Not too over crowded. Good margaritas!
Pretty town with great malecon, beautiful church and lovely flea market. Also great restaurants - we stopped at Fat Man's on the water, and were entertained by a singer/guitarist who, in turn, was joined by two gals from Canada who were as entertaining and talented as the professional singer! Food was good but drinks were watered down - don't be...

If you are staying right on the beach along the Bay of Banderas, Bucerias is a great walk down the beach. We zipped up off the beach by the Royal Decameron hotel into Bucerias and made the trek through Bucerias to the flea market. There are many condos, restaurants and art shops along the way. Everyone is friendly. Streets are...
