It's just a small town about 40 minutes from PV. We ate at Claudios on the beach. Very good place to eat, we saw many places that looked good to eat. I do want to re-visit. I just like going to all the little places around PV.

Lovely little town, very laid back. Beautiful galleries, very welcoming. The market was great, very friendly and cheaper then the one in PV. Beautiful beach. We felt very safe here.

I thoroughly enjoyed this little town which is about a 45 bus ride north of PV. some nice beachfront restaurants and a quaint square. a local market selling trinkets. there is a street which has many gallerias, cafes and cantinas and is a great stroll in the afternoon.

Visited with friends at several beach bars. We prefer to sit at tables out on the sand. Beautiful beach but the mobile beach vendors are relentless. The worst I've ever experienced. One after another approach you that it's difficult to carry on a conversation with your friends. They stand in line waiting to sell you what you just refused from... More

After a short cab ride, we spent a relaxing morning at the flea market and it was like going back in time to an old Mexican town. Sand street, friendly vendor and a lot of animals & chickens running around. We eat in a restaurant on the beach and just had a great time walking the town. We had such... More

Took a taxi from Rio Jalisco to here. There is heavy construction in Bucerias Centro so be forewarned. Vendors still need your business. Some nice items here, especially the glassware. Take some time to just sit and watch.

We have to buercias before but this time seemed very relaxing and fun! We walked the market and found a few treasures! Bought some wine glasses and the cutest sign made out of old Mexico license plates (they weren't really willing to go down on the price of the signs) but they were so cute. I had to get one!... More

Some lovely restaurants off the beach, and a super beach. Lovely sand. Centre of town has the usual vendors, lots of them in fact...all selling the same stuff. They are redoing the main plaza and that should be finished soon. Some very nice galleries also in town.

From Nuevo Vallarta, we took a taxi to Bucerias to learn about the Huichol bead-making artwork. Around the plaza, there were several artisans who were working at their craft, and offered completed pieces at reasonable prices. The fleas market has many stalls with typical tourist items but there are some places that have authentic pottery and other nicer pieces. Bargaining... More

this is the place for you! Loads of tourists with a huge marketplace in the streets. Plenty of restaurants right on the beach where you can rest and enjoy the view. I enjoy more authentic Mexican towns and not ones that cater so much to tourists, so that's why I rated it average.
