We enjoy visiting Bucerias every year. There are some pretty good restaurants and a few gems. There is a mercado where the people sell their wares at fair prices...if you negotiate a bit. Watch if you buy silver, as some is better than others, you can tell by the feel/weight. Not that you will be ripped off, it's still silver,... More

Several small towns dot the edges of Banderas Bay. This is a gem, reasonably priced food and accomodations and that small town feel in the middle of the hustle and bustle that is Puerto Vallarta

I initially walked to this town along the beach from the Riu Vallarta, about 45 minutes. I then cut through to the town, only to find another flea market, just the same as any other and it was a case of keeping my head down or else I was being pestered to have a look at stalls I have seen... More

Definitely worth a visit. If you're able to cook "at home" there are many good stores to buy fresh seafood. The market is good for "barter" shopping and many restaurant choices. We haven't been disappointed in any restaurant choice. Possibly spend the afternoon.

In the market at Bucerias there is a stall run by Hector that sells wine and other glass products. They have unique colors and are reasonably priced. Hector is a great guy.

I hadn't been in Bucerias for several years. They have cleaned up the area and paved some of the streets. The beach is clean and there is a small break that is good to boogie board.

A quaint little town to visit and well worth it. Don't miss the weaver, the Amber shop and for a little more shopping "activity" the market. If you are going to have lunch or dinner, DO go to MARY SOL. Have the jumbo shrimp!!! Delicious! Dine with your feet in the sand. The only drawback to the beach seating are... More

I like that I can walk down the street by myself & visit with people all along the way. People don't bother you if you just want to have a rest and "people watch".

Yes it's quaint but I didn't see anything that deserves a special trip to see. The flea market(s) are no different from any other Mexican flea market I've seen and in the end I found better deals on the Malecon boardwalk. However, I could have missed something significant so read other reviews as well.

Our travel agent recommended that my friends and I go here to shop. The prices were way better than the vendors on the beaches and other popular areas, but not as good as Walmart. You should def go to Walmart if it's close to you. The products are the same and way cheaper. It was a good experience to get... More
