Bucerias is a growing tourist destination with a very nice beach. There are lots of services here including restaurants and shops.

Bucerias is a happening place, full of gringos escaping winter. Lots of people from Canada come to Bucerias for up to several months in the winter and many go to the same accommodation each year. There is a large choice of great places to stay, many bungalows with kitchens, and an all-inclusive De Cameron resort at the south end of... More

The beach at Bucerias is great. There ae no rocks and only gentle waves. Great beach bars near the park offer umbrellas and lounge chairs with cheep beer and good food.

Stay close to Bucerias and walked into town on a few occasions. We stopped at a little pub off the beach and paid an extremely high price for a drink. $7.00 for vodka and coke. Always ask the price for a drink before you sit down and order.

short cab ride from Nuevo Vallarta and a great getaway for a day. Awesome shopping, not as touristy as PV small and laid back shop owners with great prices and culture

Quaint little place that has very interesting markets. Their weekend "locals" market is the best, it boasts everything from soup to nuts there plus chicken feet and antiques. You have to see it to believe it,

If you are staying in PV you can hop on a local bus and head out to Bucerias for a change of pace for the day. Quick & easy to get to. The beach is better as it appears not to have lost so much in the big storm.

We walked about an hour on the beach from the Rui Jalisco to Bucerias. It was a hard walk since the sand is so soft and you sink in it, but will worth it. When facing the ocean turn right and walk past the Royal Decameron, when you reach fat boy restaurant then you are at Bucerias. You can take... More
