Want to visit a fun and authentic little Mexican town, do not miss this spot. First eat lunch or dinner at one of the great little restaurants on the beach. Adatos, Fat Boys, Mar Y Sol all really good choices for feet in the sand and yummy food. Miguel Angels is the perfect restaurant on the town square. Whether a... More

The town and street markets are great. There are many excellent restaurants in the area. We love eating in the ocean front setting. The people are friendly and it is very safe.

We took a cab from our hotel as it was pretty hot and humid out. The prices were phenomenal and the locals were very friendly & enjoyable. We went only for shopping and were not disappointed!! Great little swap meet type area!!

Nice 4K walk up the beach from the Riu hotels. Take water if you walk it in the daytime. Not a lot to see up the beach but just nice to walk the distance if able. The town itself is fairly void of tourists until late afternoon....due to more comfortable in the evening hours. We only saw the vendors which... More

Bucerias is the hidden treasure of the PV area. The restaurants are fantastic and authentic. The area is safe and bustling with activity. Cab service is instantaneous. The church and bizarre area in the heart of the city is full of friendly, helpful locals. You should absolutely add Bucerias to your PV, NV itinerary. Come hungry and you will not... More

We always visit Bucerias while staying in Nuevo Vallarta. Usually, our trip to Bucerias consists of shopping for gifts at the market and lunch on the beach. We have had good food at moat of the beach locations but probably eat at "Fat Boys" most often for their Shrimp burger. Most of the vendors are pretty fair and will haggle... More

Great place to find seafood on the beach or overlooking the beach! Enjoyed shopping in the "flea market" area, with prices a bit less than in Puerto Vallarta. We ate at Miguel Angel's....great food

I love here, so of course I love it. Small town. Nice, friendly, down- to-earth residents. Some great restaurants and beaches. Fun sports bars. Interesting bike rides, hikes and horseback trails. Wonderful church: La Fuente Riviera
