Great place for shopping and absorbing the local culture! Short trip from Vallarta where all ages can shop, many places to eat and tons of photo opportunities! Have to go when in Vallarta where you can spend hours or the day while enjoying the sun!

If your staying in PV it's worth the taxi ride to visit the flea market and have lunch at one of the seaside restaurants. The flea market has all the usual rubbish but there are a few gems as well. Look for a pottery and glass stand on the south side. Owners are very friendly and they will pack your... More

Quaint city with fantastic restaurants. Most of them with beach views or on the beach. Even the smallest of restaurants down side streets are good. You an drive within 10 minutes to many others. The town is very small, but they have a flea market everyday. Wonderful beaches that are not crowded at all, even in high season. Best time... More

This was a simple town, we had choice of fancy restaurants or street side tacos. There were many vendors to buy local art, trinkets, t shirts, toys etc. Friendly people. We also went to a wonderful local church, La Fuentes Riviera.

We stayed at the RDC and walked around Bucerias a little bit. We hit the beach (great), the flea market (interesting) and the Mall (nice). The beach is really lovely - long, easy to walk and the surf wasn't too big to swim in. The flea market could be stressful. I like to do my shopping without being pestered so... More

A fantastic little oasis outside of the big city flavour of Puerto Vallarta, we feel right at home. There are lots of interesting shops, restaurants, people watching and open clean and safe beaches. This is a must every time we travel to Mexico, I could happily live here!
