You need to kayak or boat out to Los Arcos, but it's beautiful, and has amazing snorkeling and scuba. I would go with a guide if you are able to.

We hired a boat, just the two of us at the Los Muertos Pier for about $70.00 usd for a two and a half hour boat ride and snorkeling trip. It's about a thirty minute ride to Los Arcos and it's wonderful to see what's along the shoreline and view the scenery. There's several pelicans on the rocks. The driver brought... More

Drove to Barcelo in the morning (930-10am) and paid 500 pesos for 2 of us to get on a boat and do a snorkel (about 1 hr). Very organised, started to get busy about 1030am and quite crowded. Lots of vendors so you could probably negotiate a good price. Nice snorkelling, they throw bread in the water to attract fish,... More

We took a private boat here and went snorkeling through the giant rocks. The wildlife here is unbelievable. Gorgeous colorful fish are in the water and Pelicans and Bobos with blue feet are all around. Definitely a must see if you visit PV.

The water isn't very clear in PV like it is in Cancun. But many boats go over to Los Arcos. The birds there make it smelly, but if you take a good boat you'll have a fun time. We prefer Cielito Lindo…a catamaran we've taken several times. Your drinks are included, as is the lunch; you'll go over to Las... More

We kayaked from Garza Blanca Resort to Los Arcos (about 35 minute trip). Beautiful coastline. Calm water. Beautiful rocks! We snorkeled and saw some pretty angelfish, and then we kayaked through the center of the rocks. Saw a lot of pelicans, too! Snorkeling was just fair, but still worth it!

There are so many great little shops and restaurants along Los Arcos. Each time I visit I find something new and interesting to checkout.
