The first time here the water was clean, snorkeling was great, and we had a great time. This last time the water had steaks on it. At one point when we came up my niece's hair had something slimy in it. That's when I realized that the film on the water was sewage from the cruise ships. I guess the... More

Huge stones jutting out from the deep within the bay. Beautiful ride to this point and beyond. There is a man who paints beautiful pictures on tiles w/only his fingers.

I joined a group of people heading to Los Arcos from Mismaloya Beach. The snorkelling is great here and much better than it was around the Marietas Islands! When I went - the water was clear, there were heaps of fish and the water was fairly calm! Definitely worth doing if you're heading to Puerto Vallarta.

We stayed at a nearby resort and kayaked to Los Arcos. There were several tourist boats around with people snorkeling, but there was plenty of room for us without feeling too close together. Water was a lot more clear than anticipated so we were able to see many kinds of fish. Definitely kayak through the largest arch - the water... More

If you are in the area and want to snorkel, this is where you go! We have been able to snorkel in many parts of the world and this would not be one of our top spots. Yes the water is warm but not super clear. It also can get rough so go early in the morning!

Beautiful natural arches; snorkelling; if in a kayak, you can go through one of the arches. (This review allegedly is not the minimum 50 characters, which I doubt, so am adding this line as filler).

Los Arcos is a nice limestone formation. A wondeful place to snorkel and see beautiful fish. Nice beach. Several boat trips there daily.

Used the spa at Los Arcos on the Malecon in Puerto Vallerta. We had a couples spa treatment with Iris. Iris was fabulous, very professional! The spa was extremely clean, serene and professional. It was a great experience from the moment you walk through the doors the lovely experience begins.

We really, really enjoyed Los Arcos. This is a marine reserve consisting of rocky islands shaped like arches very near the shore near the village of Mismaloya about 10 km south of Puerto Vallarta. It is very close to the Barcelo resort in Mismaloya and you can see the rocky islands from Highway 200. We took a private boat tour... More
