I very much like Alfred, the owner and acupuncturist. He is from Seattle and originally from Austria. He is very gentle and caring....and interesting! His rates are very fair. I used him several times and I know others that have used him and have been quite satisfied.

If you are in need of an acupuncturist while in Puerto Vallarta, Dr. Albert is your man. Born in Europe, trained in Seattle, he is an expert in his trade and is highly recommended. Best if you can visit him at least twice during your stay; we only had time for one visit but found it energizing and helpful in... More

Very intuitive and calming. I've experienced a lot of positive change since I've been seeing Alfred. Definitely worth checking out.

I've always carried 'severe' tension in my neck and shoulders to the point of not being able to breathe or unclench my fists, after one treatment my muscles relaxed and I was breathing calmly. One week home from PV I still feel calm without having to turn to medication. I only had time to see Alfred twice while in PV,... More

I live in Puerto Vallarta 6 months of the year and have previously tried 3 other acupuncturists in the area. I found Alfred Laggner through Cupocity and am so lucky I did ! I have struggled most of my adult life with lower back pain and have found that acupuncture works very well for me. After going to others in... More

After being hobbled by plantar fasciitis for several months and experiencing little relief from podiatrist-recommended exercises and orthotics, I tried acupuncture with Alfred Laggner. The very first treatment brought me relief, and after a few more, I was pain free. I had never tried acupuncture before but am a firm believer in its effectiveness now. That Alfred has a true... I have known Dr. Alfred Laggner since 2011 and have gone to him for treatments for bronchial coughs, knee pain or general "imbalance" from long-term travel. He takes the time to learn what your mental and physical state is, checks your energy levels or "pulses," and then treats you accordingly. I have always left his office feeling better physically, mentally,... More

Generally, I am a wuss about needles. But, when your knees are screaming for relief and your other joints are about to join in and your supposed to be having fun on your vacation in Puerta Vallarta, well, what's a girl to do? So, on the recommendation of a friend I went to see Dr. Alfred. He turned out to... More

My husband and I have both had treatments with Alfred..he is wonderful!! After two treatments, my shoulders and hip are pain free. My husband had a stroke 4 years ago and lost feeling in his left side. Again, after two treatments with Alfred, he is getting sensations back in his arm and leg. He will continue treatments every two weeks... More

I recently spent a month in Puerto Vallarta while recuperating from some alternative cancer treatments in Tijuana. I had some Ayruvedic treatments from Greg at Healing hands and I asked him if he could recommend an accupuncturist in Vallarta. I have regular acupuncture treatment at home here in Ireland and I really sensed I was missing them. In brief, I... More
