Where to begin? I wanted to sail and snorkel, as well as see the birds on Los Marietas islands. Sailing? Nope. The boat puffed its diesel all day long. The shabby sail was on the boom, but had no proper rigging to sail it. ( no boom down haul or main sheet)... The crew said that they'd like to sail... more

I visited PV over the Thanksgiving Holiday and was talked into this tour by the travel guide at our hotel. This excursion is terrible and I can't see why anyone would want to waste a day, and Pay for it! We boarded the boat and headed out into the harbor where we began to circle. One of the workers made... more

Geronimo cruise disappointed badly: filthy toilets, an indifferent crew with 'attitude', food [chicken&tuna salad] exposed in the sun for hours] and a general lack of interest in passengers. Seeing the whales was awesome, but no compensation for an amateurish operation. I 'd travelled from Australia to PV.to see the whales. My US mate compared Geronimo very unfavourably with other whalewatching... more

This tour should not be advertised as a snorkelling tour. We could not see 2 feet in front of us - the water was very murky and had a greenish tinge to it and it also smelled of sewer. I couldn't wait to get back to the hotel to have a shower and clean my equipment. I have snorkelled in... more

Early Saturday morning my friend and I set off for the Marina for our Geronimo snorkel cruise to Las Marietas ($500 pesos/person). This was the highlight of my trip, and its ALL thanks to the wonderful staff! I LOVE ARTURO! He was our host and he was hilarious. My friend and I both got seasick and they took good care... more

the trip to the island was great..we had a school of dolphins racing the boat...a john denver calypso experience to be sure..the crew was fun. We snorkeled for only 20 or 30 minutes and saw some nice fish..the guide dove down with our camera and shot pictures of the eels in the rock caves..and then we had to get back... more

This cruise with snorkeling was horrible. It is a 3 hour boat ride to the Marietas islands, with 20 minutes of snorkeling, and nothing to see once your in the water, then a 2 hour trip to a beach that you get to spend 20 minutes at, and then 2 hours back. It is horrible! Especially with kids! more

We were very impressed with this tour, and would highly recommend it to couples and families with older children. While watching the other boats take off, we noticed that they were all packed in like sardines, where we were spread out and very comfortable on the Geronimo. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My husband and I took advantage... more

Last January, 2005, we had a great time on the Geronimo. (I'm only posting this now, as we just discovered the website). The catamaran was fun, safe, not too crowded, and not too loud. We had two small kids with us, and they loved seeing countless whale spouts, a ray, and the staff went scuba diving and brought up a... more
