Muy malo! No me gusto para nada. Prefiero PV y la Marina. Sayulita es mucho mejor. Sayulita is much better but only if you like Hippie type places.

We were staying at the Iberostar resort and decided to do an off-resort excursion. Resort staff gave us a golf cart ride to the main road where we caught the bus. The fare was only 10 pesos each and dropped us off in Punta de Mita. A short walk from there and we were at the waterfront. Lots of great... More

Having not been to Punta Mita in a few years, we were offered a condo for a few days. The bus trip from Puerto Vallarta was very inexpensive, only about $2. The ride was about an hour and a half of twisting roads and hanging on to our seats! But got there safe and sound. The buses run frequently, so... More

My family's first time here and all I can say is wow! What a beautiful little town. The people are some of the friendliest I've met in the world. We were here during Easter week with what seemed like half of Mexico! The beaches were busy with families playing in the sand and surf, bands performing in community areas and... More

This area is really good for beginner & intermediate surfers as the waves are consistent and long, as they smoothly roll into the shore. There are lots of really good restaurants around and yet this is a really quite out of the way beach pueblo near Puerto Vallarta. We are going to stay out at Punta Mita next year for... More

We took the bus from Puerto Vallarta to Punta de Mita and it was super cheap, once we got there everyone was offering to take us to the Marieta Islands for 1/5 the price that we were getting charged in Puerto Vallarta. There are a few stores to see but not too many, can go there for half a day... More

We already had an all inclusive hotel but chose to find another beautiful beach with small bars and restaurants. We chose to go to here through here from the locals recommendations and so pleased we did - away a bit from other tourists you are made to feel welcomed by the locals. We ate here and ordered the fish platter... More

This was a fishing village that is now built up with condos, hotels, etc. About 1 1/4 hours from downtown Puerto Vallarta. You can take the bus to Sams Club / Wallmart and from there you can catch the bus to Punta de Mita. You can walk out in the ocean for 1/4 mile and only be up to your... More
