We were on our first full day in Puerto Vallarta walking the Malecon and spot the church. People were going in and since we were dressed fine enough thou unsure at first-there is a sign that says no shorts. The cathedral is completely restored and cleaned. On Suinday, many masses are held in Sopanish, but the 10:00 a.m. mass is in English/Spanish with the sermon mainly in English. It is casual in dress and a very relaxing place to spend part of your holiday more
