Open to all, this cathedral draws us to partake of the Christmas mass even though we do not speak spanish. Still feel part of the congregation and blessings. Such a beautiful atmosphere.

We have visited this beautiful landmark many times. It is near the plaza in the heart of town, it is indeed, the heart of PV. The malecon is a stone's throw away. The bus goes by. I especially love the crown on top. Our Lady of Guadalupe Festival (also known as Feast of Guadalupe), held every year from December 1st... More

Open air and beautiful. Fresh cut flowers every day. Live music during mass and I always put a few dollars in the poor box to cover my indiscreetions of the week.

Beautifully lit at night, and magnificent interior. The center of faith in PV. A must see! And lots of good shops and restaurants along with street vendors close-by.

even if you are not religious, you should visit this historic cathedral. We attended mass one Sunday and, as always, it is a cultural experience. It is great people watching if you do not speak Spanish...and if you are Catholic or familiar with the mass, you can still follow along. Also, the church is beautifully lighted at night.

A wonderful place with an excellent history to boot. We were fortunate to be in the area during the Daily processions to the Church for the Lady Of Guadalupe celebrations. We visited the Church on the Sunday following the celebration and it was standing room only. The architecture is simply magnificent.
