This place is very beautiful. If you are considering a day trip via Vallarta Adventures, I would recommend it. However, you might consider booking with another excursion provider. The entertainment on the catamaran and staff on the boat were great. The downfall with this provider is the main office that was, in general, rude and unwilling to help us cancel... More

Staff was great, snorkel was just ok, food was good plenty of cocktails. Paddle surfing, kayaking, and swim in a cave to Marietas beach.

This is a wonderful natural place as probably nothing you have seen before. I even did some scuba diving around the island and it was really nice. But: Make sure you don't hire a tour with a huge boat or catamaran with another 100 people. Get a small tour (or private one) and make sure that the time of your... More

We went to the islands on the Alley Cat catarman. This was definitely the way to go. It was fun to get out to the Marietas Islands and the beach was worthwhile. We were fortunate to arrive when there were not many others at the beach. If it was crowded I can see where it could be very unpleasant. There... More

The day cruise offered by Cruceros Beachboy, Peurto Vallarta was a nightmare! Our family looked forward to travelling out to this hidden island, spending the day snorkeling and walking on the beautiful sand. What a complete waste of a days holiday and expensive too! We were jammed tight onto this catamaran, where they were greedy enough that the crew brought... More

We went on the Marietta island tour and I can't think if how it could have been worse. They get you there early telling you they have breakfast for you, but the line is so long, you never get anything. Even if you do, there won't be any seats. Then you get on the boat with the other 90 people... More

The excursion was average, snorkeling was good, was bumped two times by other snorklelers. Bird watching was nice and the ocean scenery was very cool with the waves hitting the rocks. I was disappointed on not being able to see the hidden beach due to unsafe tidal conditions which made going into the cave to get to the beach too... More

Brilliant from start to finish. Went through Vallarta Adventures and they were simply superb! Boat was clean and and crew were attentive and their service was brilliant. Drinks flowed and the food was fresh and very tasty. Then we got to the Hidden Beach. There was no promise that we could get through the cave as clearly this is tide... More

We booked the trip to the islands with Vallarta Adventures. The trip out there was good, with music and entertainment from the very hard-working crew on Boat 1 (Emilio sticks in my mind and we loved his dance-off with 'new boy' Ronnie on the way back!). We got to the islands and I was glad to get off the boat... More

The easiest way to get to the islands is by booking a tour with any of the tour agencies in town. If you don't want to spend a lot of money you should take a public bus from Puerto Vallarta which brings you right to Punta Mita. Once you get there you'll find some guys around offering a two hour... More
