We love to just go and wander around. There's always something going on wether it's early morning or late at night. You can walk for exercise or just stroll and if you need a rest there's always places to sit and watch people. Of course if you're thirsty or hungry there are great choices.

We walked the Malecón 5 times during our stay in Puerto Vallarta. It was great. There are tons of restaurants, shops, markets, vendors, and little side bars to grab a quik beverage. So interesting and SAFE! We had never been to México before, and there was some really bad press just two months before we got there. But let me... More

Variety of Puerto Vallarta, if you're looking for something to do this is the place. You'll find a variety of food, shopping, entertaiment, etc... You can find all price levels. The noise from the cars can get a bit loud. You can see a large part of PVR from this location.

The last time we were in Pv we spent a lot of time along the Malecon. It is like an expressway to all PV has to offer. There are shops, vendors, and many streets to venture off into. The art along the way is Museum quality.

The new Malcolm is a world ahead of the old. Get off the lounge and take a walk so you can enjoy it. It's different every day and time of day...AND NO CARS...FINALLY!

We spent a few hours at the Malecon. They had a bunch of nice restaurants and great views of the bay. As you walk down they have a lot of statues that make for great pictures. Street vendors ask, but don't hassle you for their goods. A nice place if you are in Puerto Vallarta Centro.

I love being on the Malecon. In the morning there are joggers and dog walkers enjoying the beautiful mornings. In the afternoon and evening it is busier - more tourists, restaurants filling up, vendors, people strolling, musicians, and entertainment.

Absolutely beautiful, don’t miss this area when you visit PV! Easy to access via cab or city bus (I recommend getting the real experience and taking the bus into town – only about 7 pesos, buses are blue & white with destinations clearly marked on the windshield). Give yourself several hours to explore this boardwalk along the bay, full of... More

The Malecon is the place to go if you want to stroll among the locals and tourists alike. Food, entertainment and (of course) shopping await you. The pleasant breeze off the ocean is wonderful. If you want to avoid the pitchmen (tequila, time shares, adventure tours, restaraunts) just walk closer to the ocean side. The Malecon has wonderful public art... More
