We took a company trip and most of us went on this tour. Over had over 30 people show up and they did a great job. The owners really focused on us and made the tour ours. It was nice doing this tour on one of our first days cause we then knew the town a bit more as we... More

We were there on the 9th of Jan and had an awesome time on the food tour. We were a group of six that had arrived on a cruise. Our guide was very kind, friendly & knowledgeable. When we arrived and started the tour, I realized that I had left my iPhone in the taxi. I was very upset and... More

WOW, what an experience! We had a clan of over 30 work-friends want to go on this tour so they split us into two groups. The tour guides were very organized and knowledgeable about the vendors we were visiting and the food that was being served. It was very thought out. The food was amazing, but the stories about the... More

WOW! This was a phenomenal experience! It started with the booking process and just got better and better. The owners Paul and Lindsay went out of their way to ensure our group was taken care of. We had a total of 38 people from our group that wanted to attend. They set us up for success and provided us with... More

We had so much fun on this tour learning about the culture and "real" cuisine of p.v. mexico! Our tour guide Alex was awesome and fun and so informative. He was just as passionate and excited about the food as we were and he also educated us on the history of p.v that we otherwise would have never known. This... More

We were very pleased that we went on this tour. The stops were interesting and well selected for variety and quality. The group was quite small (8) but had a common interest in food and the area. The guide was very knowledgeable but was not constantly talking and allowed us to enjoy the experience.

On our last visit to PV in November, 2013, my partner and I took the Pitilal tour, an experience that really opened our eyes to the local cuisine. We had such a fun time on that tour that the evening tour, which focuses on the various permutations of El Taco, was a no-brainer. We signed up, got our email confirmation... More

Broke every rule about eating in Mexico and loved doing it. Two regrets - the first was that by the time we got to the 10th stop - a wonderful looking restaurant- I was too full to enjoy the mole. Second regret was that I didn't have a day to retrace our tour outlined on the handout. Interesting, thoughtful guide... More

My friend and I took the Pitiieal food tour, with Ricardo as our guide. If you were going to invent a tour guide, you want him to be just like Ricardo. He is gregarious, very knowledgeable, and observant of his group. I don't know how long he has been doing this, but he still has a very fresh presentation. Pitiieal... More

We went on the downtown tour on January 19, 2015. Our guide was Ricardo (a.k.a. Lobo). We could tell Ricardo loved his job, his town, and its food, and he wanted all of us to experience it. He gave us great tips on how to pick a taco stand and brought us to eat at places that we would never... More
