For our honeymoon, we were staying in Punta de Mita, but we drove back to Puerto Vallarta to spend the day with Mavi. It was amazing! We got there a couple minutes late because we underestimated the time it took to get back to Puerto Vallarta. We rented a car so we were driving slow and Mavi greeted us with... More

Mavi Graf really does it right! She picked us up at our hotel and took us shopping at local markets. Then back to her beautiful condo over looking the marina to spend the day cooking, eating and enjoying many conversations about people, life and how food beings people together. I loved the margaritas and how she made us feel at... More

Three of us went to Mavi's cooking class. We are all 'foodies' that knew very little about real Mexican food. We thoroughly enjoyed it. And we learnt a great deal - not just about Mexican food and drinks but also all about Mexico itself. Mavi is an intelligent, generous hostess who invites you into her home and entertains you whilst... More

After reading all the glowing reviews on TA, we arranged to spend a day with Mavi. What a GREAT decision that was! Mavi should be named "Culinary Ambassador" of Puerto Vallarta. She picked us up at our apartment and that was the start of our introduction to PVR. The drive into town and her explanation of the various buildings, areas... More

This was much more than just a cooking class. Mavi picked up my wife and I at our hotel and took us on a tour of markets and a spice shop that most tourists would never visit. This was more than a shopping trip as Mavi spent time explaining the cultural differences between the different regions of Mexico as we... More

I went to Puerto Vallarta with my daughter, sister and niece a couple of weeks ago to surprise my Dad for his 75th birthday. Our gift to him (besides having us there) was to have a cooking class with Mavi Graf. When I tell you Mavi is marvelous, I am not just saying that! From the minute Mavi walked in... More

Our father lives in Puerto Vallarta. My daughter and I flew from San Diego to meet up with my sister and niece to surprise our father for his 75th Anniversary in P.V. We hired Mavi Graf for an incredible day of buying food at local markets and learning how to cook and make incredible Margarita's! Mavi explained everything about the... More

For my birthday, my husband Sigurd, gifted me with a day in the Puerto Vallarta markets and kitchen starring Chef Mavi. My sister Polly and I were picked up at our Condo by this petite, energy filled, adorable woman in a red chef’s jacket. Off we went on a journey to gather ingredients for our cooking class in Chef Mavi’s... More

I surprised my boyfriend with a long weekend trip to Puerto Vallarta for his 30th birthday. I was looking to create some unique experiences that we haven't done before. The experience with Mavi was wonderful and it was such a pleasure spending the day with her. We started off with a trip to the Butcher Store and Fish Market to... More

My sister and I spent the day with Mavi. I nicknamed her the energizer bunny! She's extremely friendly and enthusiastic. We enjoyed visiting the butcher shop, fish shop, produce shop, spice shop, etc. in Old Puerto Vallarta. A highlight was the Tortilleria Aries where we saw tortillas being made. Back at Mavi's condo with a beautiful view of the marina,... More
