K here. Four of us did the day taco tour and couldn't have a better time or better food. We were met promptly by our guide (Anna), provided shopping bags and off we went. We moved from Barria, to Carnitas, to Coconut. We saw a bakery, a butchery, and a tortilla factory. The ceviche, shrimp taco and chile rellenos tacos... More

My wife and I did the "Tacos and More" tour while in PV for our 22nd anniversary. On a previous trip, we did the zip lines and toured the tequila places in nearby Mismaloya, so we wanted something a little different this time. I'm so glad we chose this tour. The food was great and the size of our group... More

We did the evening tour. We were able to visit four local restaurants. All excellent food, but we were totally stuffed by the end. Each place gave us 3 different dishes to try. Our guide was amazing! She gave us lots of local history and we had interesting discussions during all our visits. More

What a great tour! My husband and I went on this taco tour and wished we would have brought our 18 year old daughter and her friend. They would have enjoyed it too. Make sure your start the tour hungry, you will get to taste a lot of great food! If you could to this the first or second day... More

Whether you are a seasoned Vallarta vacationer or a new traveler to this paradise, this tour is a "must do" experience. The perfectly delightful Eric Wichner has painstakingly put together a tour of street-side taco stands, bakeries and candy shops which might otherwise be missed. And much to my surprise, each of the ubiquitous taco stands that line the streets... More

I'd never thought I would eat off the street food stands in PV. Eric totally gave us an eye opening experience on wonderfully authentic flavors of what is already a "foodie" town. AND I never once felt that the food was unsafe. I especially enjoyed meeting the faces behind the foods, like Rosa, the Quesadilla Queen. I am grateful for... More

We just returned from Puerto Vallarta yesterday. However, I can not stop thinking about our FANTASTIC journey thru the food stands and unique restaurants provided by Vallarta East. We took the morning/afternoon tour on Tuesday May 1. Eric was there to greet us and to introduce us to our tour guide...Memo. Observation #1--these guys get it...from the intimate size of... More

A well-guided stroll through the streets of Vallarta, where tasty treats lay waiting around many corners - tacos of all kinds - birria, ceviche, grilled shrimp, seafood-stuffed jalapeno, etc. - so much variety. And a wonderful sampling of refreshing homemade beverages - horchata, hibiscus, etc. with the last stop at a Mexican sweet shop. And on the evening tour -... More

These guys know their food! We were looking for a more genuine Mexican experience, and this was it. Our guide, Memo, was quite knowledgeable about each of the places we went, about each of the food items we had, and was just a creative, cool and intelligent person overall...we wanted him to be our friend! You will be stuffed, so... More

This tour was wonderful! When we arrived at the meeting location not only were we greeted by our guide, but Eric the owner as well. He asked us about our flight, hotel and our visit to PV thus far. And I want to be clear, he was legitimately interested. Once our tour began Memo our guide was amazing. It ended... More
