Nice that two great groups have combined resources!! We had seen one of the homes another year but it was still special a second time! It is so nice to listen to some of the home owners give some interesting facts about the house or their lives. Many of these properties have lots of stairs and uneven walkways into the... More

I have taken the home tour in Puerto Vallarta at least 6 times. I enjoy it and want to share it with my friends. Each time it is different, although there might be some repeat homes. The money goes for a good cause too.

I lived in Conchas Chinas for the winter and I had a delightful home tour trip in much of my neighbourhood. The hosts and hostesses of the tour were informative, humourous and fun to be with. The homes were amazing, with beautiful views and ambiance, many filled with exquisite art. The tour ended with a restaurant visit and free tortillas and... More

Clearly, there are many good and decent people even amongst the wealthy. I cannot imagine having a bus load of people traipse through my home looking at my personal things to raise money for charity. I think I would rather write a cheque, but I am certainly glad that there are people like that out there. I found it fascinating.... More

I found out about the Peace Home Tours by chance. We had wanted to do a tour of the local houses for our upcoming trip and so I searched online. When I read the description of the tour and that the proceeds go to providing meals for the poorest residents in Vallarta, I had to buy the tickets. As for... More

This is a terrific outing where all proceeds go toward PEACE's "food for work" program. Each fee produces 10 meals, if I recollect correctly. Wonderful homes and views, well organized, fun tour guides. Excellent outing which takes place each Tuesday where different homes are shown.

This was an amazing bus tour! Wonderful sightseeing as well of the southern part of Puerto Vallarta. Our hosts were great and really knew the homes we were visiting. The 10,000 SF home--with the ocean view--breathtaking!!!!! You are also giving your money towards a great cause. I would HIGHLY recommend this trip. I will be back in 2014 for another... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the PHT. I saw four homes I never would have been able to on my own ranging from traditional PV architecture style from 40 years ago to an ultra-contemporary house to houses built into the hillside across from Los Arcos. The volunteer guides are knowledgeable, personable and helpful. If I were to visit PV again, I would... More

I have been coming to Puerto Vallarta every year for over 10 years. This was my first house tour. It was really fun! I saw a side of Puerto Vallarta I would not normally see, and the volunteer tour guides ensured that everyone was well informed and had a good time. Best of all, the money they collect goes towards... More

While visiting PV my husband and I decided to take one of the advertised home tours. There are two non profit groups that do them but they are on different days. We chose Peace because it worked with our schedule. It turned out to be a great way to spend the day and see some interesting places that you wouldn't... More
