We arrived at 8am for the Whale watching tour. We watched a small video about whales and were given some instruction from the biologists about what to look for and what we were about to see. We walked down the sidewalk to a small boat and off we went! We saw about 10 whales including a mom and her baby.... More

We traveled to Vallarta for our 30th Wedding anniversary specifically to do this and were not disappointed. We saw several whales including a baby. The guide knew her stuff, and we really liked getting a lot of information about the whales. We would definitely go again and use Ecotours.

Carlos is a great guy + very knowledgeable. Great thing is that it was a very small group; only 4 of us. So you received individualized attention. Saw some of the snorkeling groups on large boats that must have nearly 100 people - ugh! The snorkeling was not all that great the day we went; the water was pretty choppy.... More

Our family has snorkeled in Hawaii, Bahamas, Cancun and now PV. Hands down Ecotours provided us the best experience so far and exactly what we wanted; a small group, boats that were in good condition, experienced drivers, affordable, and knowledgeable guides that are comitted to snorkeling (not drinking). In our group there was only 5 of us, so that was... More

Save your money. Get yourself to Nuevo Vallarta by taxi or bus and pay the 27 pesos to do the turtle release.

Fernando is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide. We watched two male humpbacks fighting over a female. The boat is small and the whales were very close. This was our second whale watching trip with Ecotours and we enjoyed it just as much as the first one.

We took in the ECOTOURS baby turtle release and the crocodile sanctuary tour today and had a great time. Our tour guide Fernando shared his deep passion and extensive knowledge of wildlife with an easy informative style. To see crocodiles, kingfishers and baby turtles only hours old in one afternoon was amazing. This definetly is a must do on your... More

Releasing baby Olive Ridley sea turtles that hatched just a few hours ago into the ocean was a unique and wonderful experience! Our guide Fernando, was friendly, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. My friend and I had a wonderful morning birding trip with Fernando, a guide for Ecotours. He was a knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, delightful guide who provided breakfast, much local information, binoculars, a telescope and an incredible ability to hear the birds before we saw them. As I had no telephoto lens, he attached my camera to his telescope many times... More

My husband and I enjoyed our "private" tour! The guide spoke English very well, and was happy to discuss all sorts of topics, from the types of butterflies we saw, to the names of the fish. As we were the only ones on the tour, our guide shaped the outing to our needs and wishes. We had the option of... More
