This area is where the fancy resorts are located. Many city tours stop here to take pictures and see the gorgeous landscape. It's on the way south from Puerto Vallarta and it's a very pleasant drive wether you rent a car or go on a tour bus or even taking public transportation. There's beautiful little coves and it's a paradise... More

Go south of old town Vallarta, We took a private taxi as far south as we could go to get to "Yelapa". Then our taxi driver hired a water taxi in the bay of Majahuitas, to travel to this little fishing village."Yelapa" has Wonderful beaches & bar/grill placed in a remote jungle setting. Try taking a Mule to the waterfalls!... More

Lots of activities and good food. Stay too short if you go scuba diving. More

Alleen per boot te bereiken... een leuke plek om te snorkelen. Hier kan je naar toe met een water taxi of georganiseerde excursie. Dit laatste is natuurlijk handiger omdat ze snorkels hebben! More

Very nice place to go for the day. Nice boat trip there and can just relax and have some fresh seafood. Snorkeling is ok too. More

Snorkeling is only ok, not impressed at all. After Majahuitas we went to Yelapa to spend the afternoon on the beach. Yelapa is full of boats, so you can't swim. The peddlers are quite annoying. The only thing I liked about this tour offered by Vallarta Adventures is the crew members that are very funny and entertaining. Quite overpriced tough. More

Majahuitas is one of the most beautiful beaches on Vallarta’s South Coast hidden among tropical greenery and overlooking a pristine beach. This remote beach resort is a perfect location for the nature lover to go snorkeling, swimming, hiking, or relax on a pristine beach. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to explore and enjoy sea life, beautiful underwater worlds, and... More
