I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The Los Muertos Beach area is so much fun- you could sit in a beach chair and everything you need would arrive. Who needs to trudge through shops when all the choices float by right on the beach. Great food, lots of watersports, music, even whale watching right from the beach.

Big waves, lots of people, Mexican families, especially on Sundays, lots of vendors selling jewelry, baskets, clothing, and tattoos. It's just a lot of fun. There are many good restaurants along this beach and a pier to fish from and take a water taxi.

Be sure to walk the pedestrian Malecon and enjoy the ambiance. The weekends are busy with families enjoying the beach, food and craft vendors and lots of great restaurants. There is so much fun activity enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. The restaurant provides free beach chairs and umbrellas, just expecting you to purchase your food and drink from their very attentive waitstaff. It is a good deal!
