We had a TERRIFIC time riding the zip lines at El Eden, located in Mismaloya about 20 minutes outside of PV. We were picked up nearby our hotel, and though the bus ride was bumpy it wasn't bad. The crew is enthusiastic and fun, and the whole experience has a "Predator" theme, as that's where the movie was filmed. It... more

My husband and I did the zip lines through El Eden Canopy Tours. We bought our tickets in a tequila shop in downtown Puerto Vallarta for 600 pesos per person, which came to $92 US total. We chose this tour because it also offered a tequila tasting. The staff at El Eden were very experienced and professional. The equipment was... more

Hey everyone! If you want to do a zip line, El Eden is good. If you are considering going there and not do the zipline, don't bother. It is a long haul in sweltering heat and humidity, the site is tourist trap microversion, and the restaurant seems completely overpriced for what you get. We arranged for the zip line tour... more

a couple people in our group had been to PV about a decade ago and remember el eden being this great little paradise tucked back in the jungle, so when we rented a car to do some sight-seeing, we decided to go visit el eden. the road back there is ridiculous - you will feel like you're not going on... more

This was the single best experience I've had with my wife and 7year old daughter. The staff was excellent (ask for Jorge) ((pronounced "Horhay")). He was the most experienced of the lot. There are longer runs with other companies, but this is the most beautiful visually. I highly recommend this as a personal bonding experience. That goes for both the... more

I think it WAS the most beautiful place anyone could of ever visited! But then again i went several years back, before all the tours and the filming came in.Thats where the "WAS" part comes in. It used to be a small beautiful hideaway we used to love to visit as a family. It seemed as if almost no one... more

There are several canopy tour options in Puerto Vallarta. We chose El Eden because you fly high above the jungle where Predator was filmed, which is one of my boyfriends favorite movies. We booked the tour in advance from the office in Plaza Romy in Old Vallarta. You meet there to catch a ride up to El Eden, it takes... more

This was amazing. I went with 6 people, including my parents. We all had a blast. You take an open air bus along the ocean and then into the jungle while passing locals along side of the road. The staff was friendly and very helpful. You do have to be able to walk up a mountain though, there are stairs... more

We thought this place was great! It was hot, It was in the jungle and we were very excited to swing through the trees. The trip up the single lane washed out road was so cool. When we got to El Eden it was beautiful. We received very good safety instructions and away we went. It started off short and... more

The reviews mentioned below are fairly accurate except star ratings. I'm very surprised tripadvisor rates this as high as it is. This trip was sold to us as a $20 bus tour, with 2 stops downtown, a 5 minute stop overlooking Mismaloya beach and again at a Tequila "distillery" and then to El Eden. It was not made clear what... more
