We loved the puerto Vallarta downtown! There we found great shopping, the best retaurants (most a bit off the beaten path), works of art and historical sites! We felt safe and entertained as we enjoyed the beauty and perfect weather of puerto Vallarta! Don't go all-inclusive in puerto Vallarta! I feel safe walking down the streets and walking around the Malecon. I do like the Trafic in the day time, but I do love all the little shops. Wish it was less commercial and more MX. More
