We came via Beach Boy day trip and only spent like 40 mintues here. Nice beach, nice water, we got pursuaded into doing a seadoo trip that brought us back to the catamaran. Not as nice as Vallarta Adventures, but for the $300 pesos we paid for the day including open bar it was good. more
By leaving from Boca and asking the locals for directions to the hiking tour, you can get there through the :jungle". There is also a map on line if you just do a google search. This is basically the landing ground for tour groups to bring their victims. The water isn't that great and neither was the restaurant we ate at. There were THRONGS of tourists (from boat tours) there when we visited it on a Saturday. I wouldnt go back. more
Hi, this is my second time there two years in a row, and it is still my favorite place near P.V. We spent a Friday on the beach with very few distractions, had some great food and drinks, and a whole lot of fun. more
Playa Las Animas is a wonderful little beach. It's not as difficult to get to as some folks think: you can take a water taxi for 200 pesos from the Los Muertos pier, it takes about 35 minutes. We hiked to Playa Las Ánimas from Boca de Tomatlan.
