Are you ready for a little adventure? Do you have a few hours and the ability to walk a few miles on trails with a few stairs? Take the bus to its last southerly in-town stop, Boca de Tomatlan. Meander down to the water where the beachfront umbrellas/bar/restaurant is located. Then take a left, which points you to the south.... More

We took the bus from Puerto Vallarta to Boca, and then a water taxi from Boca to Las Animas. Travel time was about 1 1/2 hours, maybe less. At the beach we tried to lay down towels, but the tide kept creeping up and the only dry spot had ants, so we opted to sit in beach chairs of a... More

This beach is so fun!. We took the hike from Boca to Last Animas. The hike took about 1.5 hours. The cold beer and great food that was waiting made the beautiful hike all the bester. Dont miss this spot!

Rented a private boat (for 5 people) and spent the whole day. Approx 45 mins from Los Muertos Pier. Great beachfront restaurants serving tasty local foods. Beach is calm and clear!

Loved this quiet little beach, that we reached by hiking there from Boca de Tomatlan on a well-marked trail that meanders from beach to jungle to beach again. We'll definitely do this little hike again, next time we're in Puerto Vallarta! One of the highlights of our trip!

This was a nice beach with very clear water. I'm six feet tall, and could clearly see my feet on the sea floor when I was up to my shoulders deep in the water. It was a blast to jump off the pier too. It's not too high (6 or 8 feet perhaps), but fun to jump in with the... More

Very clean beach, enjoyed the jet ski, and para sailing. Very clean water, very calm and safe for the kids.

Not much to it. I love hiking there with 5 boys who enjoyed diving off of the pier. But the food is all pretty boring and over priced. I won't bother going back.
