This is a clean beach, shallow areas where kids can swim without worries of strong waves. If you stay or go to Barcelo Vallarta Hotel, go to the beach and look for Arnold (tour guide) or Marin, or even Rolando. Almost everyone there will help you out, but Arnold was a great tour guide for us. I recommend him because... More

We had a great time at playa las animas. we enjoyed the panga boat ride from boca to the beach. This side of the bay has some nicer beaches and the blue water is beautiful in spots. We kicked it at one of the bars and used there beach loungers and had some drinks and guacamole. No cost to use... More

Just a little boat ride to this secluded area of Banderas Bay. Not a lot of people and there a few places to eat at. Off the grid for most tourists so I suggest you try this quaint little beach

I am reviewing the hiking trail to las animas rather than the beach itself. And it is the trail that gets the 5 stars. There are so few self guided hiking trails in PV so we were very impressed with this one. We got the bus to boca for 8 pesos per person. It leaves from the corner of Basillo... More

We do not have any dislikes about this Island. We at at a restaurant called Los Pericos. The food was delicious! We had a table overlooking the Island and our kids were playing in the sand. We were able to rent a banana boat and a jet ski cheaper than at Puerto Vallarta. Everyone had fun. WE RECOMMEND Las Animas... More

A strip of many restaurants to select from that are along the water. Fun water activities to do and good food. You have the option to enjoy the water or relax near it.

Nice place for the day to eat/drink and play in the surf. Good selection of seafood places to eat. Can only access by water taxi or the hiking trail which takes over 2 hours. Have done both and the hike is amazing but grueling and worth doing if your in pretty good shape. Water taxi is expensive but can negotiate... More

We did an excursion that was snorkeling at Los Arcos then next stop was this beach. The beach was pretty and nice to swim in. They had parasailing that was very popular and everyone was doing that, I heard it was only like $30 or $40, not bad, looked like fun. The lunch was included and it was just okay.... More
