This is of course one of the most beautiful beaches near from PV, it is worthy to visit to find a place with beautiful landscapes and the color of the water is beautiful as well. I loved it! You have to take a tour that will take you from the Puerto Marítimo to this beach passing by "Los Arcos" and... More

This beach is listed online as one that is secluded and good for snorkeling. Not really true. You have to go far south to a small town called Boca. (Buses or taxis can take you.) Once in Boca it is very easy to find a man with a boat to take you the 10min ride to Las Animas. Once we... More

Very nice beach with small restaurants. Great seafood and inexpensive. You need a boat to get there. Highly rated.

Catch the Mismaloya/Boca bus in PV, get out at Boca de Tomatlan. Cross the bridge and you're on the path to Los Animas. The hike (1.5 hrs) is up and down stairs, pathways and over a couple of beaches. We had ice cold cerveza and shrimp filled avocado for lunch. We hired a panga boat to take us back to... More

Walk through the jungle to the beach from La Boca and have lunch at one of the many restaurants . . . Eat and you get a beach chair! Lots of people watching and activities. Water taxi back to Boca for a great day out.

Early morning boats arrive here and dump people at all times, the beach could be very calmed or very crazy. Lots of places to buy food here and could be dirty at some times, all kinds of activities on the beach the whole day form 8-about 6 p.m., take a water taxi amd get here early. ENJOY>

This is a beach you can only get by boat. Many people go there everyday, but still feels like a small town, great fresh seafood, fresh oysters, beer, aguachile, what else can you ask for?? You got to see it.

We came to Las Animas by water Taxi (Freddy from Boca de Tomatlan) for 70 pesos each way incidentally. We hung out at Pichon. I had the best fish ever on my 6 week trip here.

Nice place to relax at the sun having a beer. And remember the drinks and snacks at the beach aren't included in your tour!
