Came on tour that included trip to waterfall either walking or horseback. If you take tour, would really recommend riding. Even in January beach was really hot.

Los Animas was one great hike. You take a blue city bus to Boka and from Boka you have a choice. Water taxi 10 minutes to Los Animas or hike 2 hours to it. We really loved the hike the trail leads you up and over a large hill along a path that is well used. At the end of... More

We hiked from Boca de Tomatlan to Playa Las Animas. It was a very picturesque walk. The trail ended at Las Amimas where we enjoyed lunch and some beach time before returning to Boca by water taxi.

Enjoyable short water taxi ride from Boca to Las Animas which is only reachable by sea making it a peaceful relaxing spot. Several very reasonably priced beach bars/cafes offering fresh seafood and free sun beds.

We rented a private boat 6 of us and came here. Is nice to sit and relax. The water for my taste was not great. We sat at El Camaron restaurant. Get the mixed seafood salad

Very relaxing beach. Not too many vendors. Great for a drink and people watch! Waves were big so it was fun seeing people trying to stand!
