We chose the Las Caletas excursion for the third time off a cruise to Mexico and still think this is the best day trip offered by Carnival (and Princess) in this port. My adult daughter, my 4 year old grandson, and I spent another memorable day relaxing in this beautiful spot, accessible only by boat which is docked right next... More

Although Las Caletas is not an island, you can only get there by boat. The boat ride is great, seeing the shoreline of Puerto Vallarta, dolphins and the crew's entertainment. The beach is very nice and there is a fantastic buffet. We wanted to snorkel but there were jellyfish there. The boat captain went out and found another snorkel spot... More

My lady friend and I took in this attraction April 2012 and this year we went back to the same location but for the Rhythms of the Night adventure. Both attractions are worth every penny and certainly each offers a different experience. Las Caletas is a day time experience to the Island. Great food, chnace to swim, tour around teh... More

My son is only 6, but craves big adventure. He and his 10 yr old cousin wanted to go zip- lining in the worst way, so we selected this trip. Here they have a progran for children age 5 to 11. It includes interaction with monkeys in an outdoor pen, followed by a burro ride up the hillside, and topped... More

This was a great day tour. I was quite impressed with everything we did with Vallarta Adventures. Their staff was engaging and professional and all of their facilities were a notch above what we normally see in Mexico. The Caletas tour took most of the day, but the boat ride was enjoyable. The guides were entertaining but not obnoxious. On... More

A short boat ride to a secluded beach and areana, tikki torches lit the paths to the restaurant areas and then another lit path to the areana where we saw a fun show, with many suprises. More

We did a scuba trip to the island. The conditions were pretty good and the water was warm. There is a lot of sea life right under the boat pier, including moray eels when we were there. The lunch buffet and beer were the perfect way to cap off the day trip. More
