We visited Las Caletas with a extended family (4 adults, 4 kids under 10) and the whole group had a great time. We've made trips to Hawaii and the Carribean, but this was by far the best excursion our family has ever done. We found the LC site to be remote, quiet, beautiful, peaceful and fun at the same time.... more

Much of Puerto Vallarta is a Tourist Trap and that's fine if you like that sort of thing. Overpriced shopping and two start high class resorts. Las Caletas is a chance to get out of the trap and into some of natures most beautiful settings. When you arrive be it by cruise or plane book the excursion "Rhythms of the... more

We went to Las Caletas on our last night in Puerto Vallarta on the Rhythms of the Night Cruise with Vallarta Adventures. We arrived via boat to a calm peaceful place, tables lined out, drums beating and wait staff ready to serve a sumptuous meal and fine wine. We even spot a wedding going on in a small area to... more

My husband and I stayed in Nuevo Vallarta from April 17 - 24 and took a day trip to Las Caletas through Vallarta Adventures. The trip started at the Vallarta Adventures office in Nuevo Vallarta where we were taken by boat to Perto Vallarta to get on a catamaran for the booze cruise part of our trip. The boat was... more

This tour was very regimented. Boat lands, you eat lunch (nothing special), you snorkle for 45 minutes, you Kayak for 45 minutes and 30 minutes later you are back on the boat. Staff is upbeat and service oriented, logistics are well organized but they do not have much to work with. Kids liked the whales we saw on the way... more

We just went to Las Caletas almost a week ago. It was one of our excursion during our cruise trip on the Mexican Riviera. I have to say that we LOVED every minute we spent at Las Caletas. The Vallarta Adventure staff were very entertaining ( look for Emilio -great guide! ). We saw so many baby sting rays and... more

I work with severely retarded children with extreme learning and behavioural difficulties, yet none of them are as painful or in such desperate need of attention as our tour guide Kimi. Forget Montezuma's revenge (although I did end up in hospital with exactly that later that night) Kimi and his canned presentation is truly nauseating. From the feigned enthusiasm regarding... more

We took this trip while we are vacation with our two teenagers to have a diversion from the hotel scene for a day. We debated on several and finally chose this one and I am so glad that we did! I had read other reviews that said that the crew/employees rush you through everything - but we had none of... more

Went in June 2008. Like other reviewers, was also frustrated by the rushed schedule (30 minutes for snorkeling only?). Kayaking and snorkeling were back-to-back so if you wanted to snorkel for more than 30 minutes you missed out. No one mentioned that there were jellyfish. At least 4-5 people were stung. The waters were so murky you could hardly see... more

Our wedding was November 2, 2008 at Las Caletas. It was amazing - beyond my wildest dreams and beyond what I can put into words. This review is VERY long, so bear with me. The Morning Of the Wedding My girls and I met Kelley (the wedding coordinator) and Brad (the minister) at the marina at 10am on Sunday morning.... more
