Cool street with all kinds of restaurant, bar, and whatever options. We were up and down this street so many times on our little vacation we got to know it well.

This is one of the main streets in the area, and it's filled with restaurants and shops and is alive day and night, so much fun to just be there.

Great street with lots of activity and action. Good food and bars abound. For us this is the heart of the old town.

Great area to walk around. Be sure and stop for a drink at Andales. It's packed every night. They have the same bartenders and waiters for well over 20 years. Olas Altas area always feels like home

My favorite place in Puerto Vallarta. Relaxing and fun. Great little shops. Authentic Mexican environment. So many resort areas of Mexico are really not very Mexican. Cancun? You might as well be in San Diego, CA. Olas Altas is pure mexico with lots of flare and culture. Don't miss it.

Daiquiri Dick's is a fine restaurant that supports Pet rescues. I would highly recommend this as a place to stop and eat.

The daily "mercado" (market) on Calle Lorenzo Cardenas serves up yummy real food platters like chili relleno for just 50 pesos ($3.50) and that includes an aqua fresca! (fruit juice)

The Place to be for people who love to see the hustle and bustle of the beach goers , the evening dining and dancing , some shopping coffee shops , bakeries etc. the most touristy part of PV.

Shopping, dining, people watching. Good food, winding cobblestone streets, and plenty of local color.
