Take a walk down Olas Altas. There's a little bit of everything here. From pizza to burgers, Italian to Swedish (and Mexican too), ice cream to tequila. Say hi to Hector at Tequilera El Arrecife, Olas Altas 411. Tell him the puppies we bought are doing well.

Get on the internet for fifty cents! You can also print your boarding pass or use the internet cafe for very little money. This part of town has it all if you are just regular folk looking to have a good Mexico experience. This use to be the "Boardwalk" with funky little hotels and surfers. It was emerged into a... Busy area full of life during the day and night. Enjoyed walking, wandering around and eating here. Saw lots of smiles on faces while enjoying conversations at the many restaurants.

Olas Altas for us is a wonderful place. It provides a number of great restaurants, shops and other business with easy access. Right on the beach.

The restaurant and bars are just great. We have just as many friends that live there than we have here. We feel real welcome!! The weather is always great! Well so are the sights. If your there at the right time of the year, you might see a humpback whale come out of the water like I was able to... More

We spent our last day in the this area. It was a great place to eat and shop. We were there on Friday night and ate on the beach at Cuartes y Cuertes. We came back the next day to shop.

A walk down Olas Altas is an experience not to miss. Part of the charm of the oldest part of town and 1 block from the beach...many restaurants available and check out the hotels for your next visit instead of the tourist hotels.

This is the Area to be. Lots of place to eat and shop. Don't just stay on Olas Altas, venture off the other streets. You never know what you will find.

Great Jewellery stores with amazing variety of gemstones, as well. Be careful on the beach to ensure it's real silver .925. Clothing stores are now realizing their demographic includes plus size women!. Food..there are a couple of very small mini-marts with fresh veggies, and Oxxo stores (like 7-11's), and restaurants every few feet. Check out the Page in the Sun... More
