Daiquiri Dicks

Daiquiri Dick's is a fine restaurant that supports Pet rescues. I would highly recommend this as a place to stop and eat.

The daily "mercado" (market) on Calle Lorenzo Cardenas serves up yummy real food platters like chili relleno for just 50 pesos ($3.50) and that includes an aqua fresca! (fruit juice)

The Place to be for people who love to see the hustle and bustle of the beach goers , the evening dining and dancing , some shopping coffee shops , bakeries etc. the most touristy part of PV.

Shopping, dining, people watching. Good food, winding cobblestone streets, and plenty of local color.

Olas Altas is one block from Los Muertos Beach. Lots of restaurants and shops and of course the world famous Andales and Pancho the donkey. Continue right down Olas Altas and you will reach the Peurto Vallarta Malecon.

In the past few years there has been a significant change to Olas Atlas. New sidewalks and much more gentrification going on. Turning into a very upscale neighborhood. Pretty soon it will price us out of going there as well as the small hotels and family stores.

Stroll down Olas Altas and see Puerto Vallarta at its best. You will have loads of fun shopping, great jewelry stores, pharmacies and of course great food everywhere. The perfect place to people watch. Stray off onto the Beach at Basilio Badillo and go to Cafe del Mar and have the BEST moca espresso frappacino you have ever had. Enjoy... More

This was one of our two favorite streets to hang out in the Romantic Zone. This street and Basilio Bandillo which runs perpendicular to Olas Altas. We stayed in the Playas Los Arcos Hotel which is right in the heart of Olas Altas. We only had 3 days in Downtown PV and there was so much to see and do... More
