Nice little area to visit

It is a great spot to just walk down Basilio Badillo Street, grab a coffee, buy an ice cream and watch the sun go down.

Olas Altas and Basillo Badillo are the most popular street in old town Vallarta. Beautiful galleries, tones of shopping, great restaurants and bars. Puerto Vallarta is very safe. Just be aware of your environment when walking out of a bar at 2:30 AM drunk! That would be in any city in the World.

I felt safe waking around and was able to get parking a block away in this street in Old Town that we frequented several times during our trip. Note that there is not much street parking on this street. If you want to get a coffee or meal and take a break from the heat, stop into Kaiser Maximillian.

A great area to spend the day exploring ! Countless restaurants, bars, shops to explore. There is something for everyone. Restaurants from burgers, sandwiches, Mexican and German food etc. Snacks or meals. Ice cream and pastry shops. Pharmacies and jewelry stores. You get the idea, there is something for everyone.

Olas Altas is a street that is just a few blocks off the Malecon and Zona Romantica boardwalks. To me go to the above and then if you have time, visit Olas Altas, especially for dining off the boardwalk

Great street lined with interesting restaurants, stores, and a tequila tasting boutique with an assortment of tequilas from Mexico which will make your head spin. That many kinds!!! Street extends on to the Malecon and fresh produce market (seasonal). So, if you are vegan you will have to trek elsewhere for fresh produce. And just off to the side is... More

The BEST place in OLD TOWN to hang out, night or day. This laid back area has GREAT Food and Drinks and Sites long into the night. The beach is very close by as well as trinket and clothes shops. Just float around.

A lovely part of Old Town Vallarta. Great neighbourhood filled with restaurants, bars, hotels, coffee shops and restaurants. Everyone should visit the area when they are in Puerto Vallarta.
