Olas Altas is a street that is just a few blocks off the Malecon and Zona Romantica boardwalks. To me go to the above and then if you have time, visit Olas Altas, especially for dining off the boardwalk

Great street lined with interesting restaurants, stores, and a tequila tasting boutique with an assortment of tequilas from Mexico which will make your head spin. That many kinds!!! Street extends on to the Malecon and fresh produce market (seasonal). So, if you are vegan you will have to trek elsewhere for fresh produce. And just off to the side is... More

The BEST place in OLD TOWN to hang out, night or day. This laid back area has GREAT Food and Drinks and Sites long into the night. The beach is very close by as well as trinket and clothes shops. Just float around.

A lovely part of Old Town Vallarta. Great neighbourhood filled with restaurants, bars, hotels, coffee shops and restaurants. Everyone should visit the area when they are in Puerto Vallarta.

This authentic spot has it all--great seafood, drinks and atmosphere at good prices. It is really close to the beach, too. Located in the Zona Romantica (Old Town).

Always love to be near Olas Atlas as it is the most happening street in the Romantic Zone of PV. Great bars and restaurants and hotels here all withing walking distance of each other. Meet up with the regulars at any of the places on the street and you will be welcomed with open arms. Of course, most of them... More

It is a small but entertainment rich six blocks adjacent to the beach. I'm a quantitative person so I felt obligated to sample as many margaritas and tacos as possible. As a solo traveler I felt very safe even at night. I came in low season when it was very hot but still all places were open and very eager... More

This is the "happening street". Anything and everything happens on Olas Altas. Everyone you know will be on Olas Altas at some time or another. That's were you'll meet your friends. There are restaurants and bars and shops. So much fun to wander around.
