Our girls, 7 and 10, loved the tour. The horses are beautiful and well behaved, with some spirit. Fun crossing the river and going to the waterfall. A very good time with good customer service.

I took my two children on the 3 hour ride into the jungle. We had a great time riding and it wasn't all flat riding as there were some narrow climbs as we ventured higher. We stopped at a lovely restaurant and had some excellent and cheap food. Thomas was our guide and he was very happy and took photos... More

Because of the time of our vacation, we ended up being the only two on the excursion the day that we went. It was really fun! We did the "Three Hour Rainforest Tour". Our tour guide was very sweet and knew what he was doing and where he was going, but if you don't speak Spanish don't expect to be... More

I had pretty high expectations for this trip based on the reviews and was a little disappointed. I thought it was a fine little horseback ride, and probably a good value. The other rides that were offered at the tourist spots were twice the price. I actually had planned on booking when we got down there, but Pamela doesn't use... More

I had a glorious time with my two teenage girls horseback riding in the mountains near Puerta Vallarta. We 3 have experience riding horses. I loved the quality of the horses and the guide we had. The views were amazing! Another mother had brought her 2 younger children along. These children had never riden. I was amazed that the children... More

Beautiful trail ride. Our guide was wonderful. The stop overlooking the ocean and beautiful PV was a bonus.

We recently went to Puerto Vallarta for a 6 day vacation. We were looking for fun activities to do and came across Ranco El Charro. Being the careful person that I am, I read both the negative and the positive reviews before making my decision, and at first I was hesitant to book the trip because of the reviews that... More

Absolutely worth the money!! They took great care of us. We came in on a carnival cruise ship, we were picked up from the marina, right outside the ship. We were taken for a quick ride into a small village area called playa grande. Where the ranch was located. We were paired up with a small group, then paired with... More

Hello, If you like to gallop down an incline and have your horse try to buck you off or have a guide with a "loco" horse that charges your horse and scares it into a bucking motion....go for it. As for myself, I do not want to have to go through the trauma of a broken leg or cracked skull... More

We spent 3 great hours riding horses through the jungle and crossing the river. Beautiful scenery and a lazy pace. After a walk to the waterfall, we were guided to a lovely restaurant in the middle of our trip. Our lunch was wonderful as we listened to the river gurggling. A great time. The horses were docile and our guides... More
