We (10 adults and 3 children) came in tired and grumpy after a long day at Deer Island. Chef Maaike and Jasmine were so charming and accomodating. By the end of the night we were all smiles and happy as we learned to make salsa and dance the salsa! They even brought in a cake for my husband who celebrated... More

This was a shore excursion on a cruise I went on in May 2014. My sister went wth me and she wasn't so sure she would like it. Well, she and I both had a blast. Great fun time making salsa and margaritas and then learning some dance. A fun, fun couple of hours. Highly recommend.

Thanks to everyone for providing great laughs, memorable dancing and great salsa recipes! Plenty of food and beverages. Be sure to bring your bathing suits and take advantage of the beautiful pool. Beach is small and usually occupied by the people at the resort but the pool is worth a dip in it!

Our instructor and tour leader were very warm and patient as we followed their recipe... More

This was SO MUCH FUN!! You learn to make several drinks (and you will be shocked when you are shown how bad your regular margarita has been compared to a REAL margarita) plus several salsa's. We only wish we could have taken the leftover salsa's to go because they were that tasty. My husband prides himself on his pico de... More
