Sailing on Bula is a great way to spend a relaxing day in Mazatlan. Bula, owned by Gilberto Hulse Pena, is a 42' catamaran with a friendly local crew who goes out of their way to accomodate you. Freshly prepared sandwiches, local fruit and any drink you can imagine are all included in this day trip to Deer Island where... more

Enjoyed it. We were recommended to sail with Bula, and had a good time. We were picked up at the hotel, welcomed aboard, and had an enjoyable afternoon sailing. On my second trip to Mazatlan in 2007, we specifically looked for and reserved a sailing excursion aboard Bula. The day was beautiful, the crew of two was excellent and spoke and understood English. Gilberto Hulse, the boat owner, was at the dock to board everyone at 9 A.M. and again to wish us well when we returned at 2:30P.M.... more
