This Catamaran tour to Deer Island starts with a catamaran tour down the coast of Mazatlan's Golden Zone and then circles around to Deer Island. Drinks of all sorts are offered for all ages while on the catamaran and on Deer Island and are included in your ticket price. Once at the island you disembark onto a beautiful beach with... More

We were there when it was quite windy, so the snorkeling wasn't all that great. We've done beach days before, and the food is always a highlight, normally something going on the grill and plenty of it, but this was NOT one of those beach days!

Booked through our hotel resort/sunwing tours. It was a good day away from the busy beaches with pushy vendors. Catamaran ride was great. The ride follows the beach till Deer Island. Banana boat and kayaking was a lot of fun, but be careful if you go in winter I found the ocean water too cold to snorkel. Food on the... More

This tour is a good choice if you want to see the city from the ocean, sea kayak for a short while, ride a banana boat, and/or snorkel (we did not see anything but visibility was reduced due to higher surf from hurricane). The lunch was simple and good. The drinks were not strong - which was okay with my... More

The waters are wonderful and clear although lots of rocky areas too. Tropical fish swimming in schools and friendly. Take the boat from the beach for about 150 pesos per person ($10 USD). The staff will drop you off and come back and pick you up.

Snorkel/Kayak/Volleyball with and non Mexican Lunch.. Can't beat fresh Guacamole. Liquor and non alcoholic beverages are part of the package. Had a great time. Water is less rough and you can actually float around. Service and safety was the foremost.

We didnt get one of the package deals that are offered at the hotels or beaches- I think they are overpriced and I heard the bagged lunches are not that great. Go to the beach beside Ponchos where you will see a catamaran. The guys are great and you can negotiate a ride on the catamaran to the island. We... More

We did this as part of a Carnival Cruise and wanted to have a beach that wasn't super crowded. Overall this beach was beautiful and had lots of fun things to do. Some of our group did a kayaking part around the island, we mainly stayed on the beach and enjoyed the sun. There was also volleyball and for our... More

This tour was well worth it. We saw three dolphins and the captain got them to ride along the board for what seemed liked 10 to 15 minutes. It was great to see the so close to the boat. The island was great for snorkeling. We saw eels, all kinds of colorful fish and an octopus as well. There was... More
