I felt that the tour company (Kolonahe) that we used for this excursion did a terrible job when it came to safety, especially if you have young children. First, they do not make sure that the life jackets fit properly. My husband's life jacket almost came off of him when he jumped into the ocean from the boat. Second, the... More

Never take the banana boat ride... the driver flipped at least 4 groups on separate ocassions (one was my family of 8 with two small children). Our children were lost for a moment and the driver was slow to recover. I was under the impression safety was first on the ride and the crew cared. Don't trust the banana boat... More

Good crew, nice boat, nice views from boat. Lunch was excellent. Snorkling was not very good at all, I was very dissapointed. It is a good day trip, but do not get your heart set on good snorkelling. The area was not very big and the water was not clear

Deer Island is near El Cid la Marina and it is another place where you can spend some time with your family or friends.

We took a day trip to the island and we had a blast! We snorkeled, climbed to the top of the island and watched the sun begin to go down. It is definitely worth the trip!

Equipment was not usable for snorkling. Granted it was late in the season but our family paid their money just like everyone else. Would not recommend again

We were very happy with our trip to Deer Island. The boat ride over was about an hour long and the drinks were flowing the entire time. The island is beautiful with nice calm ocean that you can actually swim and snorkel in, a luxury we didn't have at our resort. I would recommend taking your own snorkel equipment if... More
