The trip was ok. There is not a whole lot to see in the waters around the island. When I was snorkeling I did not see much. The boat out was good and the time on the island was ok. One great thing was seeing Mazatlan from the island.

It was nice, boat ride was for about an hour. good music and drinks. relaxing getaway from the resort beach that was swarmed with vendors. They had a guy cut up fresh coconuts which was well worth it. snorkeling was fun, we later learned that the fish were more off to the side than we were snorkeling around.

We had a blast. The beach is beautiful ... swimming there is great as it is calm. Snorkeling was okay ... a bit murky and hard to see the fish. But fun overall ... the guys on the boat were exceptional ... we toured the shoreline first and he told us a bit of the history. We all enjoyed the... More

An array of activities including kayaks (that's what we did) as well as snorkeling. A pleasant getaway from the hustle and bustle of the resorts!

Wonderful catamarran ride to the deer island beach with a crew to make lunch of salads, fruit, and grilled brochettes, and all the drinks anyone could handle. Activities included banana boats, kayaks, snorkling, and volley ball on a nice sunny day.

This tour is pretty terrible. I must say that the crew were great! The tour however was lacklustre, the "snorkelling" was so poor it's literally just go over to those rocks with this equipment every one else has used that didn't get cleaned! The food was super bland, but being that hungry everyone ate it. And the banana boat was... More

Deer Island is a secluded beach within sight of the city. The waters on this beach are sheltered from the pounding surf, so there is some snorkeling opportunities. The tour providers also offered banana boat rides and sea kayaks. We only did the snorkeling, and it is certainly not the best. The rocks are very shallow and as you are... More

From start to finish, this is about a six hour activity. There is a great boat ride where they do some tourist stuff pointing out main sites, the bar is open and free, on the island there is good swimming, nice beachcombing, banana boat rides and mediocre snorkeling. They serve a good lunch and the bar remains open. The crew... More
