Loved the catermoran ride to the island and the banana boat was fun, snorkelling was ok but not great and you pretty much self organized island stuff yourself so ask lots of questions so you don't miss out on anything

Was told this is the best place to snorkel but no luck. Still a fun little day trip with the catamaran, lunch and banana boat. Watch out for sea urchin and broken shells.

Go for the big BBQ they have weekly, it was a blast we went kayaking, snorkeling and just enjoyed the sun. must like boats as we had to take two to get there one big and one small :)

This is done by Aries Fleet from the EL Cid marina . The catamaran was big enough for lots of people but no place to store your stuff without them falling off the boat. The captain was good and his shipmates were good and the drinks flowed. There was plenty to do on the island itself and it was a... More

Deer Island was right across from our resort. Its a great place to hang out and go for a hike. Its what I got to see every morning!

I don't think I would spend the extra money to drink beer from a cooler and a ham and cheese sandwich from a box. We snorkeled and kyaked but did NOT get to banana boat because our group was not included in that additional offering,,What!

We started with a nice boat ride to Deer Island with Drinks and Music! After the 45 minute ride we got to the island via smaller boats. Very nice beach, Banana Boat rides were a blast. Scuba diving was great once you moved away from the beach section, then kayaking was nice because you can really get a good view... More

Taken the tour today. We went for the snorkelling but visability was very bad less than 5 feet. Not many fish to see. Plus trying to snorkel while people are learning and kicking you in the face isn't great. It's not any kind of reef as described in the brochure just a few rocks. Getting on and off the boat... The hype is much better than the island. Don't waste your time. I was told at least a dozen times that Nazatlan mean the land of the deer. and so they named an island deer island. Big Whoop! there is nothing there you can't get on the mainland, except and expensive boat fee. Save your Pesos and go to Senor... More

A fun excursion to get off the resort for a day. Catamaran ride was fun. The lunch however was very bland and tasteless.
