40 travelers on the catamaran. We were told if you wanted to banana boat, you need to do that first. We lost out on getting snorkels for the 4 in our party, so had to wait and wait for the others to finish using the equipment. Once they were done with it, they offered it to the next person in... We signed up for the guided trip to Deer Island which included activities and lunch. They gave us a lovely guided boat ride along the coast on our way to the beach on the Island. All the equipment, food, and drink was provided; snorkeling, bannana boat ride, kayaking only where they could see you from the beach.

I'd forgotten my swim suit so I didn't get to go into the water so maybe I would have had a different experience. However, I spent the afternoon under one of the shady palm leaf umbrella tables and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The lunch served was just ok. Very basic, but tasty. The place is clean, the bathrooms are... More

Nice boat ride. Great beach for swimming. Food was great. Great tour operators but little to see snorkeling.

Great private beach to enjoy the ocean. Nice lunch on the beach and a chance to relax in the sun and do some activities like snorkling and riding the banana.

Definitely worth a visit. Get a coco loco and enjoy some fresh caught oysters while you're there. They will grill them up with butter if you ask.

We took a short boat ride to Deer Island, and it was lovely. Quiet, tranquil, no hotels, resorts or restaurants. Local people make fresh fruit cocktails and cut up fresh young coconut from the trees. It was a lovely way to spend the day.

We went on this boat and beach trip. It was overrated, overpriced and not what we expected. They were late in leaving the dock. The food was not that good. The crew was friendly enough but that is the only positive thing I could say about this venture.

I just thought it was not worth the cost...I could have stayed at our beach and not cost me...the only part was the snorkel, and there really wasn't much to see there. We made the best of it though.

Boat ride was OK. The beach here was nothing to write home about, water was cloudy and you definitely could not snorkel.
