While the lighthouse is said to have the best view of the city, the second best has to be from El Mirador (or The Lookout). The food is average for Mazatlan, but who will remember what they ate after taking in the splendor from the highest restaurant in all of Mazatlan. This place is perched high on the most southern...

It was very difficult to find the restaurant, but worth it for the view. I had the mixed brochette which was excellent. My husband's fish was cooked beautifully but I didn't care for the sauce. It's not elegant at all, but worth doing for lunch.

This is great place to go to get a great view of the ocean and the city. We go almost every year when we are in Mazatlan. It is so peaceful and relaxing, but it is not over 600 miles from the city center.
