A wonderful beach, great waves, not crowded, great for couples, individuals or families. There are vendors but they tend to be friendly but not pushy.

Just like Playa Bruja except bigger.Less crowded. Great food , enchanted like stepping into a time machine and going back fifty years. A great place to spend an afternoon. This entire point is an exceptional location. From this point you can face the Pacific ocean, turn 180 degrees and walk in a straight line to the Pacific ocean.

Our stay in Cerritos Resort was wonderful. We enjoyed the pool and sea daily. Shell collecting daily was always a pleasure. Just a walk down the beach to the Loonie Bean Coffee shop was also a joy.

We cycle down that way from where we stay. There is a great restaurants in the area, as well as great surfing and boogie boarding off the beach there. Easy to get there by Mazatlan's bus system, or take a pulmania ride..

If tourists want to see Mexican families having a wonderful day at the beach, Playa Cerritos is the place to be. The tide was down and many families were taking advantage of the tidal pools to scout for tropical fish, splash and frolic in the water. You can walk for miles on this golden sand beach. Fewer hotels then other areas so a more calm experience. Waves were great for bobbying or body surfing.

take the Cerritos bus to the end of the line. This will drop you at Playa Cerritos..where you can enjoy some pretty reasonable shopping and excellent food.. The fishing beach at the end of the road reassure you to the freshness of the shrimp in those huge cocktails that are touted. Indulge! They are magnificent.
