The El Cid golf and country club has something for everyone. There are good restaurants as well as a beautiful gym there. The golf course is really nice and it's location is fantastic. You forget that you are in town when you are there. FOUR>

The food was very good. The resort is fabulous, but not where I stayed. They offer tours as you leave the airport and some other travelers took them up on the deal and got tons of benefits including 3 tours and 2 meals.
We visited the El Cid course 4 times during our last trip and took 2 lessons from Jose who is their pro. We are basic beginners and he was very patient and a great teacher.
Nice course which is well groomed. 40+ years old. Our caddie Caesar was fantastic. He has been caddying for over 43 years. Greens were tight and fast.
I played 5 rounds and my wife played 3 rounds and we both had a great time here. The course itself was not overly difficult as it was pretty wide open - it helped having a caddie to spot the ball all the time. I lost a few balls but not because of the difficulty of the course, more so...

Got to play 45 holes. Tremendous variety of hole layouts to challenge all handicaps. Went during dry season, will need to come back when it has rained and the course is lusher. Staff is very friendly and caddies are very helpful.
I only used the Fitness Center facilities at this club. It was part of the all-inclusive deal at El Cid Castilla which is across the street from this club. The washroom and shower facilities at the club are first class, very clean, modern, and constructed with good workmanship, better than the workmanship in the construction of the rooms of the...

We stayed at the El Cid Castilla and decided to play 9 holes at the country club. The caddy was of great help and the course was well designed. The only bad part was the course was fairly brown when we were there in March, possibly due to the lack of rain???
A 27 hole golf course which is well located in the Golden Zone. Located inside a residential area so wayward balls may end up in someones yard. Unless you are a member you need to employ a caddie...this is the downside for me. There are other choices in or near the city.
We played El Cid twice, and it was a pure pleasure both times. Our caddy, Raymondo was outstanding. After two holes, I trusted his decisions consistantly. We played in October which is still off season, and found to be great. The course was in very good shape, the food in the resturant was superb, and the happy hour in the...
