I was able to play 4 rounds of golf here and enjoyed the course. Unfortunately I did not get to play the Marina as the day I was to play it they had it closed for some reason. The general layout is good. Greens are fairly straight forward. It has some tough holes (a 611 par 5) but for the... More

Several of my friends have been attacked, bitten, and chased down by dogs that are being allowed to run wild. Complaints go unattended and the same dog owners are allowed to keep their dogs. Even when the dogs have bitten again and again. Talking huge bites, skin broken and stitches needed. It's not safe in this gated community. Honestly. I'm... More

Multiple people have been attacked by dogs on the golf courses at El Cid Mazatlan. I have a friend that was chased by a pit bull while she was in her golf cart. No bites, only scared to death. Another friend and her dog were chased by that same pit bull into their own home while they were in their... More

As a resident of El Cid, my husband and I play golf here all of the time when we are down in Mazatlan. But it has become quite risky due to several vicious dogs who run loose, bite people playing on the course or walking and are causing real injury. Several people have had to go to the hospital for... The course consists of 3 9 hole courses that can be mixed and matched for a 9 or 18 hole experience. Thet rent carts and clubs but not shoes. Ball and tees are a available at the pro shop. The re is a good mix of easy and challenging holes and in addition to well placed snacks bars there is... More

27 holes, 3 courses, nice greens and well kept. A fairly challenging course that my friend Yves and I played on. Our caddy Jesus was simply amazing and knew the course like the back of his hand. The carts were comfortable and the equipment is very good if you didn't bring you own. We had some great laughs and some... More

There are 27 holes at El Cid, the best 9 being the new Marina course. The golf is good (not up to Estrella del Mar standards but still OK) but you are assigned a caddy (you still ride the cart) and that makes this a very good day on the links. Ask for Carlos or Chito. Great guys and helpful... More

Most people that tell you not to visit this fine track should have their head examined. For a mere 1300 pesos or so you will enjoy your round of golf. 27 holes that meanders through the marina and beautiful housing make the 4 hours truly enjoyable. Chewy (our caddie) was friendly, knowledgeable, and a joy to spend time with. Compared to... More

The courses were pretty nice. The greens were too slow for me. If you play there they make you take a caddie, which was nice but it shouldn't me mandatory! If you get one ask for Adrian, he was always right on. And a very nice man!

The course was okay. It was overpriced and our caddy spoke almost no English and didn't seem to know the greens well. The worst part was that all the standing water reeked of sewage.
