We played here on April 18th, we had a really good time, we were offered the special price for hotel guests which ended up to be close to 850 pesos (car included). The course is nice, well maintained, it has a total of 27 for you to choose. The restaurant at the club house is very good, I suggest you... More

My buddy and I played 18 holes here for 5 days in a row just rotating through each 9 holes. We played March 15-19, 2015. We had Jesus and Aurelio (sp.) as caddies everyday and enjoyed their company and golf guidance. My buddy is a 9 handicap and I am a 13 and found this course challenging enough for vacation;... More

Back again from 2 weeks (March 2015) at the El Cid in Mazatlan and 10 days of wonderful golf. Tee times we easy and painless to set up in advance thanks to Martha friendly and prompt response. The course as always was enjoyable to play and and in good shape. Lorenzo our caddie and coach was great and he managed... More

This golf course has 3 different nine hole sides, and each one has its own thing... Scenic, tough and strategic. I liked Castilla the most. The greens were really good on all of them. Before I came here, I was told that the golf course was in really bad shape, but it really wasn´t. It is not perfect, but you... More

I was able to play 4 rounds of golf here and enjoyed the course. Unfortunately I did not get to play the Marina as the day I was to play it they had it closed for some reason. The general layout is good. Greens are fairly straight forward. It has some tough holes (a 611 par 5) but for the... More

Several of my friends have been attacked, bitten, and chased down by dogs that are being allowed to run wild. Complaints go unattended and the same dog owners are allowed to keep their dogs. Even when the dogs have bitten again and again. Talking huge bites, skin broken and stitches needed. It's not safe in this gated community. Honestly. I'm... More

Multiple people have been attacked by dogs on the golf courses at El Cid Mazatlan. I have a friend that was chased by a pit bull while she was in her golf cart. No bites, only scared to death. Another friend and her dog were chased by that same pit bull into their own home while they were in their... More

As a resident of El Cid, my husband and I play golf here all of the time when we are down in Mazatlan. But it has become quite risky due to several vicious dogs who run loose, bite people playing on the course or walking and are causing real injury. Several people have had to go to the hospital for... 27 holes, 3 courses, nice greens and well kept. A fairly challenging course that my friend Yves and I played on. Our caddy Jesus was simply amazing and knew the course like the back of his hand. The carts were comfortable and the equipment is very good if you didn't bring you own. We had some great laughs and some... More
