This has been one of our favorite place for several years. This year we visited twice the first week we are in Mazatlan. Both times the food seemed flat. Once ther fajitas seemed warmed over or precooked. The grilled red snapped was not delicious to us.

Playa Brujas (Witch's Beach) is a gorgeous surfing beach on the south side of the rocky headland that shares Cerritos beach on the north side. Access to the beach is pretty restricted and is reached from a road that now has a tall view-blocking wall along its length from the main road. This is planning at it's worst! Obviously corruption... Food was so, so good and the atmosphere was awesome. There is a band on Sunday night, that were so good. The staff was fun and it was a great night of food, tequila and dancing.

Coconut shrimp and garlic shrimp. Margaritas were not that grimp but the shrimp is to die for! Guacamole was good and this place has great value. I would go for a late lunch since it is so popular with locals. It was packed for breakfast but we waited for lunch.

Take the bus marked Cerritos as far north as it goes. Get off bus and walk west to beach (not passed the strip mall). View of surfers and usually live (loud trumpets) local band. Glass blower makes unique items. 2 for 1 before 6:00. Fun evening.

Been many times over the years, the food wasn't as good Please improve the mango sauce for the shrimp, it was tasteless and boring.. But the place is very busy and fun.

My friends all enjoyed their meals but mine wasn't very good. If you order the lobster or shrimp, don't have it prepared with garlic unless you love food smothered in it - way too much for me. Others enjoyed their meals though so I guess it depends on what you order.

The Brujas is short 10 minute walk along the beach from the Hotel Riu, which makes it a good option for those wanting to get out to eat and don’t want to cab it elsewhere. Reservations are recommended and can be made through the hotel concierge. The restaurant is open-air with beach/ocean views and our party of six and was... More

We have eaten there for years and been so satisfied with the service, food, prices and view. This visit found us disappointed with the food and the jump in prices. The stuffed shrimp were tough with no or very little cheese inside. Chicken was dry and sauce tasted wierd in the chicken fajitas. We did let the manager know of... More
