Take a walk on the beach here at low tide, it is spectacular. Then walk over to the little village where you can find the Looney Bean, a great little coffee shop, try the cinnamon buns, chocolate chip cookies and a great cup of coffee. Free wifi also. Then perhaps get a massage right next door at Lulus for 300... More

Really worth the trip up to see this great beach. Very little up there right now, but it is very attractive. Bus is only 7.5 pesos and there is a little shopping center with restaurants and shops at the end. Cerritos Juarez bus.

Really enjoyed meeting one of the owners. He was so welcoming every time we (our kids and us - a group of 8 plus baby) returned. Always brought out the free shots! Great menu. Rib eye was surprisingly good.

When staying at RIU Emerald Bay, Mazatlan, Mexico, 2016 (and during our earlier stays 2011-2015) we had the pleasure of enjoying sunsets either from the western windows at Level 1 (Reception Level), as well as from the 14th level room balcony overlooking the sea.

We stayed at the Riu Emerald Bay and walked down the beach to Playa Brujas. The beach is great for kids to play and for families to watch sunsets. There are lots of locals who come on the weekends but we loved the atmosphere. There is a restaurant and a couple shops at the end. The restaurant had fantastic food... More

A beautiful beach with golden sand and warm temp waters. Surf lessons/ rentals are available at certain times.

After walking the nice clean beach, see if you can find the restaurant, then a little bit more to the traffic circle, then down a row of shops to the dead end, then you are at funky old beach fishshacks. Very laid back. Very friendly and off the beaten playa Bruja's path

The Brujas is right at the North end of the beach and is a wonderful place to watch the sunset but arrive early because it is a favorite of many people. We like all of the shrimp dishes but our favorite is Tequila Cheese and you have to really look to find it on the menu or know about it.... More
