Coconut shrimp and garlic shrimp. Margaritas were not that grimp but the shrimp is to die for! Guacamole was good and this place has great value. I would go for a late lunch since it is so popular with locals. It was packed for breakfast but we waited for lunch.

Take the bus marked Cerritos as far north as it goes. Get off bus and walk west to beach (not passed the strip mall). View of surfers and usually live (loud trumpets) local band. Glass blower makes unique items. 2 for 1 before 6:00. Fun evening.

Been many times over the years, the food wasn't as good Please improve the mango sauce for the shrimp, it was tasteless and boring.. But the place is very busy and fun.

My friends all enjoyed their meals but mine wasn't very good. If you order the lobster or shrimp, don't have it prepared with garlic unless you love food smothered in it - way too much for me. Others enjoyed their meals though so I guess it depends on what you order.

The Brujas is short 10 minute walk along the beach from the Hotel Riu, which makes it a good option for those wanting to get out to eat and don’t want to cab it elsewhere. Reservations are recommended and can be made through the hotel concierge. The restaurant is open-air with beach/ocean views and our party of six and was... More

We have eaten there for years and been so satisfied with the service, food, prices and view. This visit found us disappointed with the food and the jump in prices. The stuffed shrimp were tough with no or very little cheese inside. Chicken was dry and sauce tasted wierd in the chicken fajitas. We did let the manager know of... More

This used to be the best but they've raised their prices and have eliminated their "happy hour every hour". The coconut shrimp are still tasty as are most of their beef dishes but this place has become super touristy and they sell the heck out of the Zip Line tour (reminded me of people who sell time shares). Skip this... More

They make you feel very special here, and the food and service are great. Add to that the ambience of the restaurant and the fact that the ocean and beach are just outside the door, and this can be a memorable/romantic place to dine.

It was just ok this time. I've certainly had better on other nights. Ended up going here tonight after leaving The Last Drop for not getting our meals after an almost 2 hr wait. The 2 for 1 drinks is very nice but by the time you get to your 2nd drink it is warm and melted and watery. Wish... More
