We really love the service and the atmosphere at Playa Bruja. Unfortunately at least my fried shrimp was overdone and dry. My wife had the Shrimp El Diablo and it was delicious! Just the right amount of spice and very tasty with rice and vegetables. We were pleased that they had a full bar from which to order drinks and... More

Traditionally the first place we dine at upon arriving in Mazatlan. From the outside it appears to be an unremarkable small restaurant but once you enter that all changes into a stunning ocean front landscape. Service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. There's live entertainment, usually a solo artist. The food is very good and I recommend the... More

Beautiful sandy beach on the north end of Av Camaron Sabalo, just north of the RIU hotel. Saw more locals her than tourists.

I found this the most attractive spot in Mazatlán with it's expansive white sand beach, surfers and horse riders and because it is at the end of beach strip it seemed quieter. In the evening the view of lights along the Malecon is unforgettable and so is Mr Lionso's restaurant which I recommend for great food in Mexican setting and... More

At first glance, Playa Bruja seems like just another tourist stop with t-shirts and cheap souvenirs. But go around the corner from the outdoor mall area, 1-2 blocks past the RV park, and sit down for a cold cerveza at Lionosos. This outdoor lunch and dinner spot is the real deal. They serve shrimp a million different ways along with... More

Playa Brujas is far enough from the golden zone to keep a lot of the tourists away, so, you can go there and not have the multitudes of vendors etc...The surf is very large here and you need to be careful if you go in. There is a nice hidden beach on the north end that is just over the... More

We arrived at 7:20, order taken aat 7:30pm. Cerviche came at 8:40pm, then dinner at 9:10pm. so disappointed, this was our sons first visit here and he won't come back. Food was cold when we got it and there were a lot of empty tables, so it wan't that they were busy.

food and service was well below par,on two occasions we have had servings which we had to laugh at because they were unrecognizable and one occasion the waiter called them beef faijitas, then corrected himself after we said we ordered chicken. I have to admit it looked like beef and didn't taste like anything I would continue to place in... More

Food quite good. Happy hour 2 for 1 drinks a great bargain. Wonderful to be there at Sunset. Walking distance down beach (about 20 minutes) from Costa Bonta resort.
