My family had a great time at the aquarium. While the entrance could use some work (they are building a new shark exhibit). Once you get past that, the aquarium is really very nice. They have bird shows and a very funny sea lion show. Tip: the shows are in Spanish but you can still enjoy them if you don't... More

It seemed like a good idea. We were up from Old Mazatlan looking around the Zona Dorada and thought, as the weather wasn't up to much, we'd spend a few hours in the aquarium. The facilities are very shoddy. The fish tanks less than well looked after and the demonstrations uninspiring. The sea loins were amusing, and probably well looked... More

Nice small aquarium with lots of birds and other reptiles. You can go right into some of the birds areas and we were fortunate to see a peacock open it's feathers - I am sure it was trying to attract my husband because he followed him everywhere! More

We spent a nice afternoon at the Aquarium in Mazatlan. $90 pesos per person (adult) to get in. There were several very large tanks housing some really big fish, sharks and stingrays. They had several rooms full of smaller tanks with smaller reef fish and fresh water fish. The tanks were not up to what you would expect in the... More

It's small compared to many North of the Boarder Aquariums but it is very easy to enjoy on a more personal level. There are many folks willing to answer questions and you can interact up close and personal with the animals, fish and other creatures. You can swim with the sharks if you spend a very small amount (a couple... More

We stopped by to kill an hour or so and it was nice. Just a local aquarium. It's nothing like Sea World or anything. Don't plan on spending more than 1-2 hours here. The price is pretty cheap and they have a couple shows (all in Spanish but it's pretty basic and not hard to follow along). They had fish,... More

-get a picture with a sea lion or exotic parrot for 25-50 pesos -had planned on swimming with the sharks for 300 pesos but after seeing the sharks & the tank we didn’t -thought this would be a good tourist attraction but nothing was in English (no signs or shows). -the sea lion show & the bird show were very... I guess I had expected to see a few more things at the aquarium. Other than that it was clean, & the Sea Lion Show had great interaction with the audience. More
