I went here with my fiance when we visited Mazatlan last summer (June 07) and we had a blast! I think that the market is the best way to experience a culture. Very interesting to see, but you do not want to spend too much time there. DO NOT go to the bathroom there! One of us paid 3 pesos to a lady for some toilet paper to use the "hole" in the ground. The Cathedral is across the street (SW) and across from the cathedral is a 3 level department store... more
