Your review is unfair. Do you realize the day that you went fishing with Julio was the day that Zihuatanejo experienced a fog phenomenon? A phenomenon so rare that nobody has ever witnessed it before. The cold currents rolled in the middle of the day. This event was on youtube and was talked about by many. The videos I have... More

Sometimes you strike out fishing and sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate. Don't miss out on what was a highlight of our trip because of one negative review. Julio and his family/crew are hard working, really good people who will treat you to a special day on the water. My girlfriend and I booked the fishing and snorkeling combo trip with... More

After the reviews on Tripadvisor my family and I were eagerly anticipating our snorkel combo tour that we booked months in advance with Julio's tours. The big day finally arrived, it started with someone meeting us at the statue claiming to be Julio’s brother, we were taken down to the pier and asked to get on board a boat that... More

We're sorry that you didn't experience a great day on the water as most others have. We can't be responsible for what Mother Nature does and the freak fog bank and cold water condition hasn't occured in over 25 years. To address your concerns, we are baffled as to some of your incorrect statements. Julio met you at the statue... More

What a nice day out fishing and snorkeling! Julio met us promptly at the statue at the pier and took us out for hours of fishing and then to a quiet snorkeling spot. It took a while for the fish to start biting but once they did we caught a good sized black tuna every five minutes or so as... More

Great time fishing and doing the snorkel combo trip with Julio. Julio is a great Captain and knows his stuff. We caught upwards of 30 fish, releasing all except what we planned on eating at Las Gatas. Do not come to Ixtapa without booking a trip with Julio's Tours. Was the highlight of our time in Mexico. My girlfriend and I did the half day snorkel and half day fishing excursion several days ago and it was the highlight of our trip to Ixtapa. Julio was prompt, polite, jovial, and the boat comfortable and well stocked with supplies when we arrived. The entire day was perfect, and you will not regret booking a tour with Julio. Regards... Plain and simple: Julio's Tours, and his crew, are phenomenal. My wife and I did the 1/2 day snorkel and 1/2 day fishing and we had the best time of our lives. We are not advanced fisherman; we live in New York! We just wanted to go deep sea fishing, and we caught several fish! If that weren't exciting enough,... More

Met Julio at the pier just before 7:00 and from there on our day just got better. We tagged and released a sailfish before 10:00 in the morning and decided to fish closer in so we could possibly catch some fish for lunch. We caught a wahoo and several other smaller fish but were happy with the lunch options. From... More

We had a great day of fishing and snorkeling with Roberto, Julio's brother, (the Jocelyn was out of the water for maintenance) in the La Gringa. Roberto was a great captain, we saw several sea turtles, dolphins and sea snakes. We caught a few fish, kept a black fin tuna and a rockfish. After fishing he took us to Manzanilla... More

My wife and I fished with Julio on Feb 25th 2010. I wanted to fish small game because I had no interest in Marlin or Tuna. We caught three fish, it was slower then I'd hoped but that's fishing. I'm no novice to fishing and there are good days and slow days on the water. The sun was out and... More
