We were on a 15 day cruise and this excursion took place on day 6 ~ where we truly needed to get out and see something !! We were taken on a boat (very nice) to a place to deep sea snorkel and were given wet suits (not full ones) to protect our bodies from all the jellyfish that were... More

Great beach , lots of coral , coarse sand on the snorkel side , great clean swim side on the island. Watch for bottle caps and glass in the sand on the snorkelling side . Lots of fish to see !! More

Beautiful island if you go to the other side. Great snorkeling. Food on the beach is way overpriced. Just average. Go to Cozumel if you want to snorkel and not get sick on the food. More

Snorkeling from the beach was very good. The food at the restaurant was good but the beach and restaurants were nearly deserted. More

Bought a boat trip from a beach vendor, who said it was $10 less than the hotel. Didn't tell us his boat was really just a water taxi that my friend ,literally, just missed getting his arm crushed between the open window and the rocky dock. Didn't tell us the snorkeling that he raved about would be $12 additional. Didn't... More

We rode a local bus from Sunscape Pacific Dorado to Playa Linda and then took a Water Taxi over to Isla Ixtapa. While waiting for the panga to pick us up we met a waiter from a restaurant from the snorkelling side of the island. He set us up with a palapa and chairs and looked after our needs all... More

Unless you are going to snorkel or take a 30 minute hike around the island, there is really nothing else to see or do but wander past the many restaurants and massage businesses. More

Glad we went to see it. Took the bus from Ixtapa to Playa Linda, very easy 10 pesos. Walked down to the pier and paid 40 pesos each for a return ticket to the island. Took about 10 minutes to get there. Getting off the boat, was met by a man who took us to the snorkeling side and set... More
