Super Clean Beach, Ocean is usally extremly rough and not advisable to swim, you will get knocked and twisted around by a huge wave, guaranteed. Not for kids.

This beach is beautiful, clean and filled with people. There are waverunners to rent; banana boat rides; and parasailing. Volleyball is played on the beach as a few vendors try to sell their souvenir items. The beach was clean along most of the length (southeast end had some debris. Surf was moderate most days, although a little rough for small children. Surf towards northwest was too rough for most swimmers (4-6 foot breakers).
Even though all the hotels were full, the beach didn't seem overly crowded.

This beach fronts the major hotels on the strip in Ixtapa. It features clean, clear and warm water! The wave action is non-stop. I marked the beach down from excellent because it is a beach where you don't want to leave young children unattended - the waves can get pretty rough. For experienced, safe swimmers, it is wonderful!
