Yesterday we had the best experience of our life with the help of our most capable, safe and knowledgeable tour guide Arturo Martinez who operates in Huatulco. He took us (a party of 4) in his most comfortable SUV along a bumpy rain ruined road 2 hours into the mountains so we could experience Magic Falls. Magic Falls are breathtaking and... More

We were a large group and took two vans from our hotel. This is an eight hour day but well worth it. We stopped at the medicine man half way along for talks on natural herbs samples on mescal. You have to walk a fair way in the rain forrest to the falls then further on to more falls and natural... More

Nice little hike and a beautiful waterfalls. Nice stoos long the way and a great lunch at a local eatery. Make sure to wear your bug spray.

I really enjoyed this day trip into the Mexican hillsides. Lots of local culture to soak in and beautiful valley views. Plenty of fauna and foliage to experience. The falls weren't amazing but they were worth seeing and diving into the cool water felt amazing in Mexican heat. My better half didn't enjoy it as much. The trip took 2.5hours... More

Exactly what it is, we went on the magical falls tour, met the mountain medicine people, hiked to the falls to be greeted with these incredible falls, we swam in the cool clear crystal fresh waters. Then after the tour we had a beautiful lunch, which was perfect after the nice hike to the waterfalls, it really was a magical... More

This trip was awesome - kids loved it as did we. Bumpy ride was fine, even for toddler. Coffee plantation was a little disappointing, go to Pluma Hidalgo instead (or in addition).

What a magically place! Unbelievably gorgeous! I would definitely go back. Only sucky thing lots of switch back roads. If you get motion sickness this may not be an adventure for you:((

We booked this excursion through Apple vacations at our hotel. It was about $75 per person but this also included the coffee plantation where they fed you lunch, the waterfalls, tour guides who are locals and transportation to and from the waterfalls. On the ride to and from this excursion, you drive through the villages and you really get to... More

The driver picks you up from your hotel in a big van that fits about 14 people or so. The worst thing about it is the drive. It is through a VERY LONG BUMPY RIDE to get there that I even felt sick after 45 minutes of driving through the desert mountains with no paved roads. The driver was very... More

The drive is a long bumpy ride! LOL Some pretty cool sites. There are a couple of different fall locations. I heard the one we went on was a bit smaller, but it was a smaller group and a little more personal/ peacefull!!!! Same thing but different! LOL
