Having our own tour, set up specifically for us, was terrific. Arturo was extremely knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and showed us areas that a hotel-arranged tour never would. Travelling with a small group (6 of us) allowed us to see areas and meet the locals in a way a big bus tour wouldn't allow. We had all the time we... More

I would describe Arturo as an excellent and conscientious tour guide who is able to change schedules based on the wishes of his clientele. He knows his Mexican history very well and shows a good command of the English language while communicating that history - he has a great sense of humor while enjoying his role of tour guide. We... We were just in Huatulco from Jan. 10-24 2012. we did the Pluma Hidalgo coffee village tour, it lasted about 6.5 hours and was one of the best tours we have done in Huatulco. If you want something different than beach and snorkelling, fishing and so on, then this is the tour you want to do. Therre was 6 of... More

He is not your average tour guide, just doing his job...he goes above and beyond to show and tell you what you are about to see and experience. For one, you can tell he is passionate and enjoys sharing and educating you about the area, culture and history of Huatulco. We went up to Llamo Grand to go to the... More

Myself and five friends just got back from our first trip to Huatulco. Arturo took us on a day trip to a waterfall and coffee plantation. He has a very laid back/no pressure attitude. He is very well educated and speaks excellent English. He has a nice, large suburban and he drives very carefully. Arturo knew the owner of the... More

MIXED BLESSING at Huatulco. At first, we thought Huatulco was lovely, picturesque, low-key. Then it became apparent that the once-sleepy fishing village had been ‘persuaded’ by the government to make room for a groomed, safe, booming, Mexican tourist destination. There are beaches, water sports, bars, hotels, scenic views, and an interesting and well-presented archeological site with pyramids unearthed daily. What... More

We booked a day with Arturo in Feb 2011. He picked us up at the hotel in his air conditioned suburban. We had friends to meet that were coming off of cruise ship. Then he proceded to take us on a tour of the area. We saw some of the bays, a small town to the south. We were taken... More

I have visited Huatulco twice now. First time in March of 2011, second in January of 2012. Interested by what I had checked out on line I knew what I wanted to see. With a referral from some people at the condo we were staying at. Arturo was our choice for four days worth of private tours. He picked us... More

My wife and I have known Arturo for some 5 years now as we always vacation in Huatulco. Over the years we have actually developed a great friendship. We met him quite by accident when we did a tour to one of the many coffee plantations through the tour operator at our hotel. During that first not so personal tour... More

We were referred to Arturo by our Fishing Guide friend, Tino. Arturo picked us up at our hotel in a very comfy air conditioned SUV, and took us on a very interesting enjoyable tour of the real Mexico. He speaks English very very well and is very knowledgeable about the history and area. We got to walk around St Maria... More
