Too long, water way too choppy so close to shore (huge swells), boring. Stop to snorkel is not much. Lunch on beach was okay but restaurant was chosen for us and didn't take credit cards. Thankfully we had enough cash. Should have chosen our own restaurant but guide on boat said he had made reservations for everyone (must be getting... More

A friend joined us for her first time to Huatulco, our tenth. We Met Tino on the beach at the Camino Real and discussed the tour. We arrived at the marina at little early and Tino was there waiting for us. Off to Entrega to get snorkel gear. $100 pesos per person. We started out earlier than the bigger boats... More

There are lots of vendors for this type of excursion, so ask a few travellers who they booked with and how they enjoyed it! There are small boats with smaller groups, or a couple of larger double decker catermerans. Ask what is include in your package, to ensure you get the best value. On some cruises, snorkeling equipment is included,... More

Huatulco and Santa Cruz area are under gradual development into a world resort. However at present, the bay and water activities are still the best it can offer. On a present day, cruising in a catamaran out at sea and spend time swimming and snorkeling are capturing the lovely nature of the destination. Simply be careful in choosing the right... More

If you are interested in having a totally fabulous experience, we highly recommend booking a bay tour with one of the local vendors on the beach. Eduardo Valle Garcia is a young man we met 8 years ago. His boat is called Mantarraya and we have referred several people to him over the years. Eddy (as we call him) is... More

We didn't do cruise, we rented private boat. Excellent way too go. Basically your taxi on the water. We went snorkeling, ate at one of the bays, went searching for dolphins and did it all in our own time with no limits.

I booked this trip downtown and saved some $$$$ Turns out we were the only english speaking people on this trip. Made it more interesting. Restaurants in the bays seemed pricey. We were not prepared to spend and didn't bring much money

We really enjoyed seeing the area from the water. We were on a boat with shade from the hot sun and were offered drinks on our trip. Enjoyed the snorkeling which I had never done before. Stopped at another bay for lunch which was good but I thought a little expensive but enjoyed the fresh sea food. Saw humpback whales... More
