Excellent tour by Alejandro Aponte the bus driver - very knowledgeable in the flora fauna and critters we were going to see. Booked this trip with Gerrado at the VillaBlanca hotel - he was very helpful, accurate, friendly with good English and gave us a very fair price (no need to run downtown for discounts, etc.). Only thing though, minor... More

I just wanted to take the time to put this on Trip Advisor as Elias was an awesome boat captain! We met him at the Barcelo resort on the beach one day and discussed doing a snorkel tour sometime during our stay. We had originally planned to do it on the Friday morning, but my wife was sick. He had... More

Stopped by Maxcaal, to sample some of their mezcal. Saw an ad in a local publication and decided to give it a try. Sure glad I did. Got a real education in mezcal production and a great sampling. Maria, the general director, sure knows her stuff and shared her passion for it. I bought numerous different varieties as gifts and... More

We purchased this tour aboard the Norwegian Sun in April 2015. We were looking for a beach day, this was well priced at $49.99 US. (Tour #HUXU1011) This tour is not for anyone who experiences sea sickness, the boat ride from the port to the beach was very rocky! We were a little worried when we first boarded the scenic... More

I used Claudia's agency to book our scuba diving adventure while staying at Barcelo Hotel across the street from her office. None of us was certified and when I inquired about scuba diving at the hotel, I was told that the cost will be $180 per person for a tank which was double the amount that we paid in Mayan... More

Great little quiet shady spot to take a time out from the heat. It truly is a One Stop Shop. perfectly located close to the hotel strip. Right across from the Barcelo. Easy to book your desired tours in the Huatulco area, many different activities to pick from. There is also excellent WIFI available for a very reasonable price. I... More

We met Cornelio at the entrance to the archeological site, Copalita and accepted his offer to guide us when he mentioned several species of birds we wanted to see, including the Northern Potoo, which my husband and I have been trying to see for over 20 years. Not only did he locate this bird and used his spotting scope so... More

Our family just came back from Huatulco and we went on adventures with Eduardo! He was amazing! He helped us catch fish, and took us to fantastic beaches and bays to snorkel! While there he brought our kids both teens, puffer fish up to the edge...he also let us hold them... It was one of the most memorable moments of... More

Booked Surf lessons with Cafe Surf. Was picked up on time and the 30 minute drive to the beach was great. There is a small basic restaurant on the beach that was perfect for us. The beach was beautiful and hardly anyone was there. Odie was our teacher. Had a lot of fun and great instruction. I would definetly go... More

Having been on other snorkeling trips, we were disappointed by this one. The surf was very rough making it difficult to see much. It was better than the hotel snorkeling, but not much. Our captain did find some sea turtles, which was cool to see and also found a pink puffer fish and let us touch it. We had to... More
