La Crucecita has good people in general and is a nice place to visit for an afternoon. Go the the mercado for cheaper goods including Mezcal and the typical black pottery. It is off the main square.

Wonderful, visitor friendly, small town. Excellent restaurants and shopping. Relaxed, safe atmosphere with lots of people with their families out enjoying the evenings around the Plaza.

Families from all around come into town to enjoy the coolness of the evening and the street food provided by a huge assortment of vendors. Visit the church, have some ice cream from the paleteria, and enjoy the social experience. Bring some small toys for the kids and... More

I love La Crucecita, a comfortable and very Mexican town. Lots of sourvenir and craft shops, and some real great spots for a bite to eat or a drink.
