Short walk to the Puebla from Santa Cruz. Nice walk in the evening. My husband enjoyed the slides! Watch out for ants that bite. The views are great day and night.

As we have seen this little town grow in the last 8 years it is still quaint and very nice to take a stroll around. I did a little shopping. Go and see the church. It is amazing. The artwork is just phenomenal inside. Worthwhile stop. Always felt safe.

We took a taxi from our resort. Had a beer, great pizza joint off the square. Visited some silver merchants too. Huatulco is very different from any where we have been in Mexico. The grounds, roads etc. are well kept. Not slummy at all. Really enjoyed our trip here.

Very clean, felt very safe walking around as a tourist. Typical sales tactics by a lot of the shops, but all were very polite. Tip - if you are Canadian, it's better to use pesos (better exchange rate than US dollars).

We traveled by cab from the resort for about $5. The town is very clean and very nice. There are shops everywhere so you can find anything touristy that you are looking for. Nice place to visit!

Cute little town! Very friendly but pushy people...."almost free for you"...everywhere we went. lol...they really try to get you to buy from them. I found the shops to be full of the same things and quite expensive. It is a short taxi ride from the Las Brisas resort. We have been there now..probably would not have to go back.

When in Huatulco, one must visit this square. It just has that community feel...not to mention all the shops. The big church is very beautiful, and is a must see.
