This is only ten minutes away from the Dreams Resorts. Alot of great shopping if you are looking for textiles, souvenirs, snacks, silver, etc. There is also a mercado where you can bargain but overall very safe and quaint town.

Cute area with very nice people. We took a taxi from our resort one evening to visit this little city and do some shopping and it was great. Wonderful people and not bogged down with tourists like you would see in other places!

Charming, and a great place for bargain priced souvenirs. Just minutes bt cab from the resort. And only a few dollars each way.

La Crucecita is a must for visitors to Huatulco. Great for strolling, people watching and seeing the real pueblo.

When you figure out which shops have the true "made in Mexico, made in Oaxaca" as opposed to "made in China pretending to be made in Mexico" you will be in shoppers heaven. There are lovely items to purchase for very few pesos made by local artisans and you help the local economy as well as the local people.

We spent a couple of days exploring the town when we were there in Feb, We found it to be a quiet, peaceful place with very friendly locals and a beautiful town square, we went to the local venders market in the orange building about a block of the square and found prices to be very reasonable. All in all a... More

Too may hustlers trying to get you into the beach restaurants and spend your dollars on over expensive menus. It reminds me of the street barkers of Tijuana in the 50., Remember "I had my lunch at the Blue Fox" ?

The place is just awesome to visit and see, but when it comes to going inside the shops and... More
