Really nice little town for an afternoon or evening walk around. Good restaurants and lots of people in the park. Feels very safe and easy to get a cab to go back to your hotel when you are ready.

Great shopping and you meet wonderful people. We met Carlos at one of the restaurants on the main road, can't remember the name of the restaurant, but he was a wonderful man

We have visited many Mexico towns and never felt as safe as we did in this town of 7,000 people. My husband said it best when he said that people here smile more. We would visit again in a heartbeat!

We went for a little shopping one day and we enjoyed it. The shop owners weren't pushy or trying to hustle you. I had some fun bargaining with shopkeepers, in a fun way, but after knocking the prices down I ended up giving them a bit extra anyway. They seemed to get a kick out of that.....lol! It is a... La Crucecita is in great condition - roads are beautiful, the small town square is great to sit in... children will sell you bags of mangoes and then dress them up in spicy sauce and fresh lime (so worth it). Watch out for the birds in the square - they really... go to the bathroom... a lot - so watch... More
