La Crucecita, located about a 20 minute walk away from our condo, is a charming community, which unlike many towns in Mexico that appeals to tourists, retains a very authentic flavour. While not huge, it's great for an afternoon wander.

Booked a bay tour with Carlos Galvan outside a restaurant in the city. We're promised snorkeling gear and certain drinks on the boat as we don't drink and nothing was there. Really badly over changed as well. He also promised he would be the one on his boat and he sent a different boat with someone completely different. We felt... More

Nothing extraordinary, but I was glad to get away from the resort atmosphere. It seemed more genuine. Did not see one foreigner in the couple of hours we spent in a restaurant there. Very refreshing.

Quaint Mexican Town - great shopping - very safe. Was close to the resort so we could do the tour with a guide, but easily come back on our own to get bargains.

Although this area is relatively new, it has the flavor of old Mexico. There are several excellent food choices on the square and within blocks. The entire area is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Every evening and night you will find activities in the zocolo. This area (Huatulco) is probably one of the safest areas in Mexico,

Hubby & I visited the town of La Crucecita for dinner one night. We had a lovely dinner & walked around the town for a little while. Lots of great places to eat at or shop.

The shopping is pretty good. Note that the store folks can be pretty pushy. It's only a 32 peso cab ride from Las Brisas.
