Nice little town...lots of places to eat & shop.

Hubby & I visited the town of La Crucecita for dinner one night. We had a lovely dinner & walked around the town for a little while. Lots of great places to eat at or shop.

The shopping is pretty good. Note that the store folks can be pretty pushy. It's only a 32 peso cab ride from Las Brisas.

We did an official tour through Transat - XP Travel did the actual tour, a local company with great tour guides. Pepe was our guide, he did a great job and made sure that we go to all the good/safe spots. Having said that the town is very safe, as long as your comfortable with vendors trying to sell you... Same as all little touristy Mexican towns. Church was gorgeous and so was the town square. Other than that, nothing amazing for me.

One can travel alone and be very safe in this village. No fast food places!! How great. Beautiful old church to tour. A place to pick up many handcrafts, silver jewelry, and enjoy the local restaurants.
