Beautiful town and worth leaving your resort for. Even if you have all inclusive food and drinks, going to town for some authentic food and people is a nice compliment to this gorgeous part of Mexico. Some small shops if your in need of souvenirs and if not, just take a stroll and enjoy the town centre

This is a wonderful little town just a few miles from Huatulco, it is a great place to visit with lots of nice shops and places to eat. There is a very unique church here that is a definite must see. It is next to the plaza that is a beautiful shaded area to rest. It is a quaint place... More

Numerous restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Main church and "plaza" area located here. Quite a bit of restaurant varieties with various price ranges. The main church is worth visiting if anything, for its nicely decorated ceiling.

I loved this town. I was on my own but had no trouble in making friends with the locals. Lots of places to eat and great to people watch. Don't stay in one of the big hotels near by. Stay in Mission de Los Arcos. The best hotel in the centre of town.

La Crucecita, located about a 20 minute walk away from our condo, is a charming community, which unlike many towns in Mexico that appeals to tourists, retains a very authentic flavour. While not huge, it's great for an afternoon wander.

Booked a bay tour with Carlos Galvan outside a restaurant in the city. We're promised snorkeling gear and certain drinks on the boat as we don't drink and nothing was there. Really badly over changed as well. He also promised he would be the one on his boat and he sent a different boat with someone completely different. We felt... More

Nothing extraordinary, but I was glad to get away from the resort atmosphere. It seemed more genuine. Did not see one foreigner in the couple of hours we spent in a restaurant there. Very refreshing.

Quaint Mexican Town - great shopping - very safe. Was close to the resort so we could do the tour with a guide, but easily come back on our own to get bargains.
