I have heard this is one of the most beautiful bays in Huatulco, I have not visited any other bays in Huatulco, but I sure would like to come back and see. The ocean was beautiful,it wasn't to hard getting in and out of the surf, although I have heard of some having difficulties. The weather is perfect here 340 days... More

If you run across Roberto from Yellow Fin tours on the beach, he was wonderful! Trustworthy and safe and very friendly, speaks English. Great snorkeling trip!

no doubt it is pretty to look at. very crowded because most beach hotels are there. not special for swimming or snorkeling. compared to cancun and tulum beaches there is no reason for going to huatulco.

Since 3 of the major all-inclusive resorts are sited on this bay, it is busy with tourists and less secluded.

Onl;y 3 resorts and a golf course on this bay. It gets rough in storms, and the waves crash really high. The sand gets very steep after a storm. There is an underow to watch for, plus the sand ends abruptly which makes you go from waste deep to over your head. Rather unpleasant if your are not ready for... More

We stayed at the Barcelo resort in tangolunda bay. Great beach. Warm water. This beach has the Barcelo, the Dreams resort and the Secrets Resort. Look for Tony Lopez Lopez on this beach, usually in front of the Barcelo. Tony is an awesome guy that has his own boat and will take you out to tour the bays of Huatulco,... More

Tangolunda Bay is one of the 7 Bahias de Huatulco. The waves and rocks are not great for snorkelling (average clarity, hard to be comfortable along the rocks). I snorkelled along the on the East edge of the Dreams beach and saw rays among many other fish, but make sure you got at low tide for best clarity. I was... More

We went there to snorkel and were disappointed to find a slanted beach lined with resort beach clubs and a massive amount of people. It would be difficult to sit anywhere or leave your things unattended on the beach, if you were not staying at one of the massive resorts, although there is a nice stretch of beach at the... More
