Maguey bay has a beatiful and peaceful beach, which just happened to be crowded the day of our visit. What i didn't like was the amount of restaurants with overpriced menus; All them were really simple sea food restaurants with what i assume was good quality food, but the prices in some of those just made no sense, they wanted... We really enjoy going to this beach as there is a lot of activity to watch. The beach to the left is where many of the locals hang out; the beach in the middle and to the right is more for tourists. if you eat and/or drink at any of the restaurants, they will provide you with chairs and a... More

Definitely worth visiting for the day! Nothing but restaurants here that shut down in the evening time. There are no shops; however, there are a handful of beach vendors. Nice place to swim, sunbathe, eat, and enjoy the scenery.

The beach is so clear and amazing to swim in. We had lunch at a little restaurant. The food was ok and they screwed us with the price we could not verify prices because they had no menus! So beware!! Also there are lots of venders so its difficult to enjoy yourself when everyones trying to sell you something.

Nice place to eat, relax and spend a good time beside the beach. Very clean beach with a warm and calm sea. The restaurants in the area are very good with a reasonable prices.

The day we went, the weather turned and we had solid rain for an hour, HOWEVER, the restaurant we took refuge under was clean, dry and had excellent service, although the prices were breathtakingly expensive. We went for the snorkeling, and it was pretty good over by the rocks. Easy to catch a 60p taxi from anywhere in Huatulco.

Nice bay with beach and rocks, some restaurants on the beach to enjoy a nice cold beer and some seafood.

Our snorkel tour through Apple at Dreams hotel stopped at this bay for lunch. Our captain directed us to one of the restaurants. The first clue that it was a tourist rip-off was the menu in dollars with the least expensive meal at $15... We knew and we still ordered lunch. The lunch turned out to be very good, my... More
